Austin returning today

Cowboys receiver Miles Austin said he will return to practice this afternoon. Austin still doesn't know if he will be able to play on Monday but the chances are increasing. Austin is coming off a sprained MCL suffered Aug. 16.


"I'm just going try to and have a good practice today," Austin said. "I am taking it day-by-day."


Austin was able to run on Monday and said his knee is progressing well.

I'm hoping he's able to get in and play, even if in a more limited number of plays. Just being able to line him up out there, and use his speed, would be another nice addition to our offense for the game.

Thrilled to see him possibly rejoining practice but with injured Cowboys, under Wade, you believe they'll play in the game when you see them enter the game.

Miles Austin will practice today for the first time since injuring his knee Aug. 16, but he's not ready to think about whether he'll be able to play Monday night against the Eagles.


"I don't have a plan," Austin said. "I'm going to take it day by day."
