Did Tearrius George just make the team?

LB Tearrius George is a monster. He just hit the quarterback on three consecutive plays. He was tranformed into DeMarcus Ware momentarily. He sack Brooks Bollinger and then applied pressure on back-to-back hits to force the Vikes to punt.

George was also a guy Jerry Jones actually raved about in the offseason. Surprised he knew who he was, but anyway he has stood out tonight. George also got off to a slow start in training camp with a knee bruise.

George wasn't expected to make the team, but he might now.

IMO, I think he didn't do enough thru-out the preseason. maybe Practice squad.

Isn't he the linebacker many thought the coaches were discussing with the comment, "He's been dragging his *** all camp" aired?

Better to show up late than not at all, but I see zero chance of George making the roster.

Walden looks ready to help on special teams if needed there, that carries more weight in my mind.

Don't forget he was injured at the beginning of camp....

It's a numbers game.... the injuries to Burnett, Austin, Hurd, etc...will not help Mr george at all.

i bet he's made an NFL roster

if it's not Dallas, someone else will pick him up imo. Hopefully, Dallas will keep him. Like 3sportstar stated, he has NFL talent.

When exactly did Bennett get hurt?
Perhaps Stanback?

I think he makes the team period.

Wade Phillips is not going to cut a pass rusher and George showed he can pass rush.

While the WR injuries dont help him the Spencer injury probably does.
If he can play special teams he could get 7 to 10 snaps week 1 as a pass rusher on 3rd down when Ellis moves inside.

George made the team, you can't teach speed and power and he's got both.

Exactomondo.

No way you let this guy get away. He won't look that dominating against starters but I bet its not far off. He has speed, turns the corner and gets to the QB, and can bullrush as well. This is the player 3-4 coaches dream about. Guess he was too hurt to do that sooner.

Not sure how good he is as a LB but they can teach that most of the time. It'd be crazy to let him go. I wouldn't cut T Smith either unless it cost me a someone more critical. Smith is a player.

He might have made the team, but The Man in the Yellow Hat will be taking him home soon.

I don't know if he will make it but he caught my attention in the game. We will see if he did enough to catch the attention of the coaches. I think the same goes for Tyson Smith who had 1 pick and almost brought down another one.

I doubt it. Whipping up on third stringers looks good, but where was he before this? With the injuries at WR and the talent at CB, I just don't think making third stringers whipping boys is going to be enough.

I dont know, he probably wont clear waivers. Almost every team wants pass rushers, and he clearly has ability to get at the QB even from a down RDE spot...he'll get claimed by somebody

I was pretty impressed with him, not saying he'll ever start but I'd rather dump mediocre guys like Rogers and Walden instead of George

was also impressed with Tyson Smith, he is another one who will not clear waivers. Not sure we have a spot for him because we seem set with the 4 ILB's, but hopefully if he isnt going to be on our team we at least get a lae rd pick for the guy.
