Draft pick progress, if you can call it that.

The Cowboys are making progress, albeit it's slow, on signing all of their draft picks. So far, the only one in in the fold is fifth-round pick Orlando Scandrick. But the team is making some progress with Middle Tennessee State defensive end Erik Walden, and he's expected to sign on Wednesday at some point.

The Cowboys are still in the midst of negotiations with the other picks.

If you're a fan worrying whether or not first rounders Felix Jones and Mike Jenkins will get all of their necessary training camp snaps in, don't. The Cowboys always wait 'til the last second to get these types of contracts done.

Walden and Choice will probably get their deals done tomorrow. Maybe Bennett will too. I expect the first rounders to be done on Thursday.

Can somebody explain to me why a 6th round pick is taking so long to sign? He must know he'll be paid in the slot in which he was drafted--a little less then the guy drafted before him and a little more then the guy drafted after him. It's not rocket science here. Oh well, so long as they are all on the plane leaving Thursday for Oxnard it will be ok.

Might have more to do with the agent he has. Some agents are quicker to respond, accept, etc. than others.
