Felix Jones has arrived

Just saw and running back and first-round pick Felix Jones headed to his room at the Residence Inn. He was on his way to his room with some lunch. He signed yesterday and will have his first practice later this afternoon. Jones and cornerback and fellow first-round pick Mike Jenkins signed last night and missed two training camp practices.

Can't wait to ask Shango & Grizz tonight about how quick Felix really is out there. Felix is going to be in the hunt for Rookie of the Year as far as I am concerned.

Maybe I'm just to optimistic, but I think Felix is going to make people forget about Julius in a hurry.

Julius is going to make a lot of people in Seattle wish they had Alexander. He'll tease them for a game here and there but in the end it won't be any different than when he was in Dallas.

Actually sometimes a change of scenary can really help a player a lot. I've got nothing against JJ & frankly kind of agree that Bill's tough love approach & making fun of a player sure didn't do a lot for JJ. Wish JJ the best in Seattle but not against the Cowboys or against our interests in any situation.

BTW: Understand Felix is another guy who doesn't respond to tough love/ridicle approach so it's good that he's got Wade & Garrett to direct him; coaches have said all you got to do with Felix is just tell him what you want him to do and he goes out and does it; doesn't need to be told a 2nd time. for Felix is just tell him what you want and he will go out and do it. I also believe Felix is a big upgrade over JJ & will quiet his doubters soon enough. Sure wouldn't object of one of our players was named Rookie of the Year.

I wish Julius Jones nothing but success just not against Dallas :D... I agree, a change of scenary can do wonders for some players.

Felix Jones is going to make a lot of people cheer in the seats because he's a dynamic player both running and catching the ball.
