Romo did not practice officially

While Tony Romo was dressed for practice, but did not officially participate according to the team's practice release. Romo threw a few light passes during the portion of practice open to the media.

Wade Phillips said Romo is questionable for Sunday's game against St. Louis. Several of the players were hushed about Romo in the locker after practice.

New receiver Roy Williams pretended to zip his lips when asked how Romo threw the ball in practice. The players were obviously told not to talk about Romo's status or how he performed. Even the usually talkative Patrick Crayton didn't want to talk about Romo and only said he looked pretty good throwing before he darted out of the locker.

I hope the players develop a "**** the media" attitude for the rest of the year.

While I don't mind guys who talk, and what not, I wouldn't mind if a few of our guys who get attacked too much would simply take the "screw you, I'm not giving you anything" attitude toward the media.

The only way players are ever going to make a change in how the media writes things, and conducts themselves, is if they simply refuse to talk to them so that they don't have anything to write off of.

Maybe if they started having slow work days cause the players refused to talk to them they'd start showing a little more integrity in their work, for at least a little while anyway.

I hear you, but I'd bet with nothing to go on, we would see even more speculation -- all negative, of course. Job of the media: when there is no controversy, try to make some...

I'm with you bro, the drama is starting to get really old. I'm glad we signed REW and all but I'm starting to apreciate why Bellichek and Parcells are so adversial with the media.

I want to start reading about how the Cowboys are playing good, sound, mistake free football and not how we're the greatest team on paper that continues to disappoint.

To me, it feels a lot like 94 through when Parcells come on as coach and I fear the same results on the field are going to follow.

hey fish, I tried Popeyes when i went to Texas 3 weeks ago. i'm not impressed. it tastes like kfc but without the 11 herbs and spices.
