Spencer not sure if he can play Monday

Cowboys OLB Anthony Spencer plans to return to practice Wednesday afternoon for the first time since the week before the preseason opener. He is coming off minor knee surgery and will likely workout on a limited basis. Spencer didn't sound too confident about being able to play Monday night against the Eagles.


Spencer doesn't seem too upbeat about his status: "I've been better."

man that is a bummer. He helped our defense push them around last year.

I am expecting all the movement and blitzing from our defense monday night. They decided to back off against cleveland because of that offense but I expect them to be on full attack monday night.

We need spencer to get that done efficiently. Hopefully he will be back against the packers.

Darn. Hate to hear that but I guess we should have expected it. Maybe Greenbay but probably for sure by the Commanders game. I figure that's probably the time line for Sam Hurd as well.
