I have a teenage son going to High School who was a little infant the last time the Cowboys won the Super Bowl.

Back then, we didn't put up with losing. We were extremely hard on the Cowboys, we didn't have this glossy look in our eyes just because a guy put up numbers.

I'm afraid that it's been so long since we've even had a DECENT quarterback, that even a guy with a pulse makes us happy. Jerry Jones hasn't drafted a QB in the 1st round since Aikman, that makes 20 years.

How do you expect to win a Super Bowl when you won't even take the time to draft a stinking QB in the 1st round?

I know other people will say that Brady was not a first round pick,and Warner was not either. But Brady came in with receivers I would not consider great, did not turn the ball over too much, and simply won. Forget stats, he just won. Same with Warner, he just won.

It's like being trapped in a room with 6 ugly as dirt women for 10 years, then all of a sudden an average girl walks in the room and we think she's a goddess, only because she's better than what we've had.

All I ask, just win.

for every Manning picked in the first round there's 3 Alex Smith's, Jason Campbell's and Ryan Leafs, why spend a 1st on a QB just for the sake of doing it when chances are that 1st will never be better then what we already have?

No, we did it the right way by picking up a free agent and allowing him to sit and watch. More teams should do this, really. It's basically worked out for Warner and sort of like Brady, this is the new trend.

I think it would've been a mistake to draft a QB while Aikman was obviously coming to the end of his career, we did not want to upset Aikman like Green Bay did with Favre.
