Wade's World: Pre-practice edition
Nuggets from Wade Phillips press conference that was held Thursday before practice....
* He was pleased with Hard Knocks, but didn't see it all. Felt is represented the team well.
* Today's practice will be a rehearsal for Saturday's game at San Diego.
* He's and the team are excited about Friday's Amtrak train ride to San Diego and thinks team will have chance to relax by getting to move around.
* Expect to see a lot of Danny Amendola on punt returns. Don't expect to see RB Felix Jones on KRs. This will be a chance to the Cowboys to get a look at what the youngsters can do in the return game.
* Outback blimp hovered over the practice field during Wade's press conference.
* DE Jason Hatcher (sore shoulder) will play. OLB Greg Ellis (dealing with sore back) will play.
* CBs Quincy Butler, Terence Newman and DE Marcus Dixon are out.
* Starters will be getting a certain number of plays and it will not be based on series. Wade wouldn't tell us the numbers.
