FWST Blog: Who practiced; who didn't

No Ellis, K Burnett or T Newman; T Glenn in

Linebackers Greg Ellis and Kevin Burnett did not practice with the team today. Not a big surprise.
Receiver Terry Glenn did.

Defensive back Terence Newman came out wearing a t-shirt and shorts, and did not appear as if he'd do anything team oriented today.

Not surprising-Ellis should be PUPed(is he eligible?), Burnett is injury prone anyways(but should expect him back after wk 1 anyways), and TNew should play OK this Sun.

no he is not eligble, he practiced in the first practice of TC. And if he goes on the PUP that means he can't play for the first 6 games of the season. No matter how healthy he is. Not worth it

I know he didn't do it on purpose, but a skeptic would think Ellis practised for half and hour and is sitting out since to hold a roster spot hostage for more money.

Yea, except that when he doesn't get more money, plays, and does his job, then that skeptic will feel like the idiot he is
