Who will be Cowboys foe for home opener?
There are no boos like those from New York fans, so ugly that the surliness seeps through your television set, as it did today if you were watching the Rangers melt down against the Flyers in NBC's Sunday hockey telecast.
Then there's the motherly love of Indiana Hoosiers basketball fans, faithfully cheering, as they did even today in IU's horrible start against Illinois.
So how will Cowboys fans react if Tony Romo and Co. lay a huge egg when the 'Boys open the new stadium this year in September? That could be call-security bad.
Could the NFL go easy on the Cowboys for the home-opener foe?
Here are the 2009 home opponents: N.Y. Giants, Philadelphia, Washington, Atlanta, Carolina, Seattle, Oakland, San Diego.
The schedule last year was announced in April, a week or so after the NFL reveals its Thursday night opener and the rest of its prime-time schedule.
If some of the crazy rumors prove true and Terrell Owens is traded to the Raiders, Cowboys fans could at least boo an opponent.
