FWST: Cowboys Want Chris Canty, But He Could Be Pricey

Enough with overpaying mediocre players... Jerry Jones the GM needs to go.

I would like to keep Canty, but not if he wants stud money because he simply isnt one.

He is a solid 3-4 DE, not a stud.

If he will take a reasonable offer, I bring him back. If he wants a mega deal then I let him walk. Either way, he is not somebody that cant be replaced and would significantly hurt the defense without (like Ware).

Igor is going to cost more than Canty so no to that idea.

Canty is the exact kind of player I don't want to wake up one morning to read we signed to a 5-year, $30 million deal with $12 million guaranteed. He's a decent player but not a bank buster.
