Wow, Reeves didn't even last as long as Carl Pickens or Quentin Coryatt.

Amazing, isn't it... Garrett hasn't done jack and he's untouchable... He coached Joey freakin Harrington at Miami... That is his coaching resume before becoming an OC with the Cowboys... How loud do TO, Tony Romo and Roy Williams have to yell before the world starts looking at Garrett as public enemy number one?

that's another impulse decision I gave an example of

at least we're not getting another retread. Why don't we follow the mold and actually give some young new folks the reigns, sans Jason Garrett of course.

The offense of 2007 must not be evidence in making your case here.

You mean the same offense that got figured out by the end of the year.. The same offense that became ineffective once TO suffered a high-ankle sprain... The same offense that Garrett ran in 2008 that was totally figured out at the end of 2007 that dropped ten or so spots.. You know the same offense that TO said was figured out this year...

It's called teams figuring you out and not being able to adjust...

Yeah, the 4-6 was good as a base defense one point in time.. It isnt' anymore...

By the way, where was SParano in 2008?

Why did we ever think Jerry and Reeves could work together?

Reeves isn't a yes man like Wade.

And we all know Jerry loves his yes men these days.

Hard being a fan of this team these days.

Yeah we are in agreement again.

Its going to be rought next season.

Jerry wont do the right thing.

Are you honestly pleased with the direction of this franchise?

That's the only reason why there's so much displeasure on here. We're all fans. Duh. And most of us can't stand watching our beloved franchise be run into the ground.

The offseason has barely begun, and it's been nothing but one bad joke after another.

Just got back from the game - very exciting, they will win with this coach in a couple of years. James couldn't miss from the perimeter though, pretty amazing.

im frustrated, but im a cowboys fan. its not always gonna be rosy. run into the ground? i dont see dallas in the top 5 in any draft.

all of u are drinking that espn koolaid that u all say u dont listen too.

by the way what the hell has reeves done to say he is the "savior" of the cowboys? not a damn thing. he turned elway into a turnover machine, and if it wasnt for shannahan elway would have been a lost cause.

reeves took one of the greatest athletes ever to grace the nfl in vick and tried to make him a pocket qb.

who cares if he isnt with the cowboys.

In all honesty, there's not much I'd change right now. I'd prefer a different offensive coordinator, but other than that, not much.

You may think I'm an idiot, but in the last two seasons we're 22-10 and we're the NFC favorites to get to the Super Bowl, so obviously it's not a untenable position.

I believe our playoff drought is among the worst in the league, no? I believe our record in December over the last decade is among the worst in the league, no?

Sure, we can win 9 games. Bravo to us. But we're unable to do anything more than be a constant tease.

Could things be worse? Sure. They always can. We could go a decade without winning a game. But I'd rather not be proud over merely being better than Detroit, Houston and a handful of other bad franchises, while a team like Pittsburgh laps us in Super Bowl wins.

I don't think Jerry is as bad as Dolan. The Isiah Thomas reign in New York will go down as one of the lowest points in franchise sports history. Although with Walsh and d'Antoni on board things are looking up.

i believe during that drought dallas had several yrs where they couldnt compete because of all the dead money from retired players. then there was the brain fart that was bill parcells. u all might praise him, but he did what he did everywhere else. he quit on the team.

Excuse me?

I have not once spoke out about Owens in a negative way.

I'm mostly guessing. I haven't picked sides, and generally don't. The role was consultant, he obviously knew this or wouldn't have came. Money couldn't have been an issue, either. Out of curiosity, why do you think BP left?

I suggest you pick someone else to label an "anti-Owensites" - because I'm not one, and nor will I ever be one of your labels.

Sure, whatever you say. Your post was ridiculous, either way. The mere suggestion that something like that would ever transpire is as naive as it gets.

Bill Parcells left because he was old, tired, had heart problems, and had tried to get this team over the hump for 4 years and failed. He doesn't stay anywhere long term. He will be out of Miami after 4 years tops.
