A man who never takes the field blew the season?

You are lost.

Ah OK... SO Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones ruined the Cowboys... Man, the hypocrisy is ridiculous on this board...

You can't be serious if you're suggesting that only the players are responsible for how the season turned out.

Hard being a fan of this team these days.

It's like ... if the woman you have been with for several years has started cheating on you, running around behind your back and running up your credit cards.

You still love her, but you begin to look at her differently.

Is she worth all of the heartache and trouble?

You would stick with her through anything, if she was trying and wanted to still be with you.

But you begin to wonder why you are giving and giving and she is not interested in making it work.

She has taken away the feelings you have always had for her.

I have never loved or followed any college or pro team like I have the Dallas Cowboys, but like you say, it is hard being a fan these days.

It is embarassing.

I just do not like what I am seeing in Dallas.

I have come to the conclusion that it is not so hard being one of the 31 teams that did not win the Super Bowl, I can live with that, ... but it is hard being the exact opposite of the franchise that did win it and thus being the laughing stock.

Not sure how I'll do moving forward with all of this crap.

I have been a fan since 66 or 67, .. I have never felt like this after any season.

DR: I think we should consider the future possibility of signing Michael.
JJ: I'm trying to clean up the image of this team. And here I thought you were going to talk to me about 81.
DR: Whatever. I'm just not concerned with him. And as far as Michael goes, he's serving his time and learned a lot from the whole ordeal. Really Jerry, I've never seen a player quite like him- he would do great in Dallas with a second chance.
JJ: I don't know, I like free publicity and all, but that would literally be a media nightmare imo.
DR: I've lived through it, it's not that bad, Jerry. And besides, he's a good kid.
JJ: I've got Tony already though. He's the future here. I don't need to be thinking about another QB.
DR: Nothing some healthy competition wouldn't even secure more though..
JJ: I'm just not really feeling Vick at this point though.
DR: I'm just not really feeling Dallas at this point then.
JJ: Are you serious?
DR: Where I go, Vick goes- you know this, you've read all the rumors and reports.
JJ: Then so be it. Go somewhere else. Go to the Raiders, all I care.
DR: Yea, fine, we'll both go somewhere else then.
JJ: Fine.
DR: Fine.

It was also reported he was in Stewart's office.
The media assumption being if he had that number it was that office....

We know JT, everything is fine, the Coaches and Personnell are in place and the Franchise is headed in the right direction.

Not sure how someone can't be troubled by all of the things that have transpired during and after the season.

If you knew me, ... I am so not like EMO.

I am an optomist.

But the things coming out of Dallas have nothing to do with football, and are embarassing.

Snitches, tattletales, whiners, coaches talking about players, players talking about coaches, players complaining about other players, lockerroom cancers, no chemistry, no leadership, ... ownership that doesn't realize the importance of chemistry and leadership.

I could go on and on, what am I forgetting?

It is a soap opera instead of a football program.

everything is fine and we all should drink the jim jones kool-aid and save ourselves are pretty far apart.

the season sucked. i hate we had injuries, hate we made stupid mistakes, hate jerry wants to emasculate his head coaches...

but i am not going to drink the kool-aid over it.
