Hard being a fan of this team these days.
It's like ... if the woman you have been with for several years has started cheating on you, running around behind your back and running up your credit cards.
You still love her, but you begin to look at her differently.
Is she worth all of the heartache and trouble?
You would stick with her through anything, if she was trying and wanted to still be with you.
But you begin to wonder why you are giving and giving and she is not interested in making it work.
She has taken away the feelings you have always had for her.
I have never loved or followed any college or pro team like I have the Dallas Cowboys, but like you say, it is hard being a fan these days.
It is embarassing.
I just do not like what I am seeing in Dallas.
I have come to the conclusion that it is not so hard being one of the 31 teams that did not win the Super Bowl, I can live with that, ... but
it is hard being the exact opposite of the franchise that did win it and thus being the laughing stock.
Not sure how I'll do moving forward with all of this crap.
I have been a fan since 66 or 67, .. I have never felt like this after any season.
