James just got ran over...then missed two tackles on consecutive plays.

Burnett and Killa just got smoked by Shockey....ah, the memories.

My question for the NFL Network is why do they pile games all on Sunday. I am thankful as it is better than nothing, but it could be much better.

I realize it is nice to pretend like every Sunday is a football Sunday, but why on earth they do not run replays like this all the time I will never know.

I am sure they have every game, they could easily just run the entire season start to finish and give a real football junkie something to chew on.

Instead, we get Cheerleader competitions. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but they over do that and the NFL Films productions far too much.

I believe if they concentrated more on actual football rather than slow motion capsules that do not tell the true story and meaningless cheerleader tryouts (they even had a high school all-star game on last night), more fans would be excited by this channel.

You mean ten hours a week of Football Follies don't fire you up?

And on the game... You almost forget how tired Parcells looked after these games. Even following a big win.

I also forgot how lucky we were to win this. Romo's two interceptions did not help us much. We were fortunate Kiwanuka fumbled. That would have hurt badly and a heads up play by Hurd.

For me, it's the endless repeats of Total Access.

As for the Sunday Replay coverage. When NFLN first came on, they used to air the replays during the week in the day time. The problem is people work during the day. So they switched it up to all day Sundays.

I didn't mind the high school football game, because at least it was football, and I think it caters to the NFL's intent to get the youth involved.

What I want them to start showing is more NFL Classics. Those are the games where they show the entire TV broadcast for old games.

I just noticed that Tony Romo is our face that says "I am Tony Romo and you are watching the NFL Network".

Isn't that something the coaches typically do?

They need to do more things like what they do on Thursdays in primetime. The Classics are good, but the other primetime spots the rest of the week could be filled with the things they show on Sunday.

I would even watch a Browns/Cardinals game on a Monday night as opposed to some insipid sit-com.

Never noticed until now. Phillips hasn't been on NFL network, at all if i'm not mistaken.

Coach Parcells never did these spots and we were one of the few NFL teams that didn't do it.

It is just shocking to see now that we do it, it was strange to see a player (Romo) do it. I think we are the only team that does it this way.

IMO, it's a basic subliminal marketing tactic primarily to entice Sunday Ticket sales.

During the season, most of the games are played on Sundays which paid subscribers of their product get via the ST.

By playing most of the replays only on Sundays, it helps re-enforce the desire within current and future subscribers to pay for their mostly Sunday-only product.

JMO.

I really like the way Ayodele is playing in this game, and this was his first year in the 3-4. Ayodele is my breakout player next year

Edit: Mickey Spagnola should watch this game and let us know if his opinion of Marion Barber changes at all. Barber is much more valuable to this team than Julius right now b/c of his versatility and hard-nosed running.

What they really need to do is have a Dallas Cowboys channel. All Cowboys all the time.
24 hours 7 days a week now thats worth paying for !!!!
