Can't imagine if we had traded down and taken him like some wanted.

You can't spell 'bust' without Gabe Carimi (but you can spell 'b').

I remember him saying that he was the best tackle coming out that year

who else was one of those so called Elite Tackle prospects that year that have flamed out? Was it Solder or someone else?

Was not Solder. He is playing well but this is interesting. I have missed on draft picks, like everybody else but I do recall this board basically getting down right ugly over anybody who said Carimi was not as good as everybody thought. Maybe he will turn out to be the guy lots of posters swore he would be but until then, a lot of people owe a lot of people some apologies.

Happy Monday

i own up to it, there are a ton of instances where my pick would've been better than who we took, but I had Carimi high on my list that year.
Didn't think a Badger OL would turn out to be so bad. I definitely would not have guessed that Solder is better than Carimi. Solder seemed like the potential bust to me.
