I haven't found link yet, but they did say they heard from an inside source that room did skip another golf tournament to attend installation meetings.

The golf outing was for the Cowboys golf charity function they held. He was expected to participate, but evidently did not.

I'm sure all the VIPs who shelled out money for the event were disappointed.

Exactly.
Those that think the one guy who already spent extreme hours at VR watching film and working withe the staff should not be able to play a round or two of golf are fools.

If he went somewhere quiet to fish or hunt--same amount of time--nobody would say anything because they wouldn't even know about it. If he stayed a home lounging around the house all day...same thing.

Don't worry fellas, Garrett has taken care of the trips to Mexico, or anywhere else for that matter, during the playoffs. Nobody will be criticized for not being ready for a playoff game as long as Garrett is in charge.
