Game 1 must win

:laugh:Every game is a must win, the Panthers added Poe to an already decent Defense and have weapons on Offense. We are going to have our hands full.

That depends on which version of Panthers' quarterback shows up: Cam Newton or Fig Newton.

Well just remember the last time on Thanksgiving they beat us like a bongo drum. Then Cam says something like, "id ask the fans to do the wave but they all went home" after the game.

I think Garrett and Linehan need to go. I will cheer that they win the Superbowl this season but if they don't we need to get someone else in.

If they go to the NFC championship game Jason will be in consideration for coach of the year and there is no way a grounded fan can say Garrett should get fired. NO WAY IN HELL!

More like Romo tripped and fell over and through the drum set. That would be the game that the Cowboys would have preferred Romo get injured before the game rather than during. Two pick sixes among his three interceptions. The three interceptions led to 17 of the 19 point differential.

Season hasn't even started yet and we're getting "must win" posts. :muttley:

I'll let you in on a secret: unless you've clinched the 1 seed in the playoffs, every regular season game in the NFL is a must win. You only have 16 of them.
NFC is looking very tough this season

There could be as many as 4-5 teams fighting for the 2 WC spots. Dallas won’t be able to afford to drop too many games, especially against a team they could need a tie-breaker against

That's it, now its all coming back to me............:lmao2:unfortunately. Don't think their Defense is quite that good thought least currently. Am more worried about Olsen and the Hobbit they drafted year before last.

Sturm wrote an article about the first five games and the fact each of those teams have poor offensive lines. he stated Gregory and Lawrence along with Taco should keep the pressure on and that should tip the scales.

Sturm is very persuasive.

Usually if Garrett losses the first game he makes the playoffs. When he wins the first game then he doesn't make the playoffs.

Usually is correct. He is 4-1 in season openers when the Cowboys did not make the playoffs. And 0-2 when they did. Anyway, week 1 is not totally meaningless. It is part of your record and has tie breaker implications. But it's not in any way a good week to judge a team. Most teams change dramatically during the season from what they were in week 1. Only Tom Landry seemed to consistently have the Cowboys at their peak at week 1.

That's because coach Landry was the greatest of all time. Not even fair to compare
