Let's try a fun new thread. I'll start.

If but for.

If but for that car wreck, Big E could have been a Hall of Fame player for the Cowboys.

If not for Leon Letts love of weed and getting suspended as he did on more than a couple of occasions, he would have been a HOF player

If but for Florida, the Cowboys would have won five straight Super Bowls in the 90s. :)

"If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas"

Yeah but this is more fun :D

If but for #12 playing until he was on medicare, #11 might have a ring and a spot in the Ring of Honor

I'll give you two. If Roger Staubach starts SB5, Cowboys have six Lombardi's. If Hollywood Henderson didnt have a drug problem, he would have been one of the greatest Cowboys of all time.

If but for Jimmy Johnson stayed on as coach, the Cowboys would have 7 Super Bowl trophies 92, 93, 94, 95 and 96. Would they have won one in 96 with Jimmy still around? Making no doubt the greatest Dynasty ever

If but for the fumble in Seattle, Parcells might have won the whole thing that year.

If but for Kevin Smith tearing his Achilles he might be in the HOF.
