Parcells said it is not changing. I can garuntee he will run, run, run and run the ball. I am sure he is going to pass very little. Another conservative game approach.... BORING!!!:bang2:

just playing his poker hand (and being respectful of his team and drew)

Since when have we been running the ball too much?

If anything, I think we pass too much.

Actually he said he will try to emphasize different things and do a little bit different, but at the same time it's not going to change drastically. No one expects it to change dramatically, but Romo's ability certainly opens up some things.

I completely agree. We need to run the ball and stick with running the ball. Romo will be most effective if he actually has something resembling a ground attack to help him out.

I wouldn't be so sure about that...

It seems he views Romo as an experienced player now that hopefully will not be making too many crucial mistakes. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they came out with Romo and threw just as many passes as they did when Drew was starting. In fact, maybe they'll throw more seeing as they might beable to be more effective in the passing game, given Romo's ability to avoid rushers.

I agree.

I kept wondering why we did not run more in at least two games this season and we lost both of those.

BP is not going to show his hand on Weds when preparing for a good team like Carolina

If anything, the playbook will be opened more with Romo in there. On Monday when Romo went in the playbook opened up, and plays for Witten and Fasano were more evident.

Agreed. A TE set doesn't really function that well when both TEs have to max protect anyway.

Read the frickin post..comprehend. I said now that we have Romo in their the game plan will be conservative. Parcells does not know what to expect with him.

He certainly didn't go conservative against the Giants.

Agreed!

I think Julius Jones and Barber need to pound the rock more to be honest, soften teams up for the pass, I know that won't make T.O. and Glenn happy but oh well.....

We were trailing by 2 TD's??? You can not run the ball at that point in the game

If we play this game conservative I will throw up right in my 1975 Dallas Cowboys trash can. Peppers and Rucker just rush straight up the field, and I think we can slow them by hitting on 1 screen pass early in the game. Also, without Witherspoon whom they decided to let walk and signed concussion heavy Dan Morgan they have no linebacker that can cover Whitten, or anyone out of the backfield. I think the rookie from last year, Thomas Jones is hurting as well. They might have a rookie from Fresno St starting for Lucas as well if he doesn't heal up by Sunday.

WHY make the change then if the QB is going to handoff the ball. Makes no sense to change a qb to do that......

We will notice a difference at Carolina, just like we noticed such a dramatic change in the offense in the second half. Whitten went downfield more often, for example. There were more receivers in the pattern.

When we were down by 11 with about 9 or 10 minutes left, there was still time for a balanced drive.

Before the Giants game we were exactly at 50/50 in regards of run to pass...
