1) OL did good today I thought Pettiti played a real good game. Tucker had a couple break downs but overall did good. Al Johnson arggggggggg I really dislike this guy 4th game with a bad snap and result is a fumble. Rivera and Allen were solid.

2) Offense played good and was able to get the running game going. Barber is really impressing me but guys he is no JuJo so quit creating a fantasy world around the issue.

3) Defense played another solid game. We had one bad play when Henry gave up the touchdown. He made up for it with the interception and displayed good piece of running for the touchdown. Ellis is playing awesome in the 3-4 I cannot believe how much Ware disrupts offenses and frees up our other defenders! I like Fujita in their more than Als I think he creates so much more disruption. A lot of us have been calling for Als to get benched now we get our wish. Won't Fowler step up now? TNew is simply awesome and quickly turning into a Deion shutdown type CB. The guy can simply fly anyone who chases down Moss is for real.

4) Washington and Philly got torched and now they get to play each other!!! I still think the Giants are hype but they do have some easy upcoming games.

The Cowboys will come back healthy except for Flo and Als which is not that bad considering last year. I just hope Dallas really busts out with JuJo back because this team becomes conservative when the run game gets stuffed. This tean can beat anyone in football if this offense can become consistent. Our defense will keep us in every football game.

Why do you say Barber is no JuJo? He has played 2 really good games now and has really opened even the coaches eyes. I think he's as good as JJ........he looks like a better blocker....he has same or very close speed and can cut on a dime to find the open hole, he can catch which is better than JJ could do last year, and in addition to all that, he doesnt go crazy after making a good play, I know its trivial but he seems to play with a lot of focus and determination. I really like how he's played and I would mind if he stayed in there, as long as he produces!!

Other than the Barber comment, I think you got it dead on man, our offense would be scary if we could sustain a consistently high level of play!! Also, I liked what I saw when Roy was at OLB and Pile/Davis were at safety behind him, it seemed to work really well and I bet we'll see more of it against philly since we'll need better coverage guys in the backfield.

JuJo can block never had a problem with it and Barber gave up a sack today.

Barber runs 4.5 in the 40
JuJo runs 4.40 in the 40

While Barber is shifty JuJo wins the shifty award remember what he did to Peterson last year in NY? JuJo has not dropped a pass that I can remember.

Watch the Hotstepper video again JuJo is special!

yeah but I havent seen him do it this year, and thats what I am going on. I love both of them.....well I dont LOVE them....nevermind, lol, but I think that Barber has showed more at this point in THIS season that JJ has. I dont think Barber has taken his spot, but I think we have a nasty 2 headed monster at RB and it wont be pretty for people to gameplan for.

I still have to believe that it isn't a coincidence that Barber did really well on a day that our O line finally did a good job of run blocking.

JuJo has something that you can't explain really. Barber is a very technically sound RB, more so than Jones, however, Jones has that special something. There's an it factor when he runs. The way he cuts, teh reads he made last year, he's just really good. Barber is good, and he would be a good starter. I love the 2 pronged attack we can sport with him in the line up.

Pettiti played very well today. He plays with a real mean streak, and that's something I like about him alot. He mugs his man.

Ware is a great pass rusher already. Once he gets some more moves, and gains even more strength, he is going to be extremely scary. I was impressed with his pressure he put on the QB, but we all knew he could do that. The biggest question mark he had to answer was pass coverage and run defense. Today he really showed us what he can do in terms of run defense. I counted 4 times when he attacked his blocker and forced the play back inside...Brady James lighting up of Arrington was caused by Ware forcing Arrington to cut inside, not even seeing James flying at them.

Shanle, Fujita, Ware, James..that's a pretty good LB corp to build upon. Burnett is going to be a good one I think too. Don't forget Dat is still very effective. Ryan Fowler was really solid on ST. This LB corps has alot of talent. Good to see James live up to his potential finally.

Ellis and Glover were in the backfield all day. To all of you who think Fergy isn't earning his paycheck, 71 rushing yards for AZ might change your mind. BTW, he was back there on McCown's pick to Aaron Glenn.

Barber did not give up a sack , you need to watch that play again.

He had no chance at blocking that guy. Anybody that knows football could see that.

JUJO is average at best blocking ,and he sure as hell couldn't pick that one up.

I've never seen a special RB miss almost half the games he is suppose to play

(he ain't back yet)

If julius is so special, why cant he stay healthy? why cant he get the yards with our starting o-line that barber got with a rookie and a back up at LT?? I think at this point, Barber has showed more "special" than JJ has.......again:

Barber 2 games with 90+ yards behind a suspect O-line........the most JJ had was like 75 i think and that was WITH Flozell.....you do the math

Julius is no stud in pass protection......I could be mistaken but you sound like you're trying to rain on the Barber parade and take aways from his outstanding day. H almost doubled the highest run total Julius has had all year.......I dont see why all the negative talk is flying around.....so what he missed a block....I dont think it was his guy but you say it was so i'll give it to ya......so he missed ONE block, how many did he pick up? I saw him take on that Berry guy head up one on one on a few plays......he's half that guy's size but he kept him off Drew's arse. Give credit where credit is due man, Barber deserves some mad props for the way he's played in JJ's place.....

That was not my intent. I do feel you are putting JuJo down to lift Barber up. My comments are directed towards the Barber JuJo comparisons. People have a tendency to get carried away in one performance is all but it was a great performance for Barber!!

As your intent was mistaken by me, please realize mine has also been mistaken. In attempt to fight for respect for Barber, I may have belittled JJ more than he deserves. I know they both have something special. I am just going on this year, and if you go on what we have seen this year, JJ doedsnt look like he did last year. I'm not saying he's not that guy, he just hasnt shown us yet, only glimpses....but time will tell how nasty our RB duo is, and I cant wait for that time, because I think it will be this year.........aint it nice when we all make up and get along, lol, like true fans......lol.....ok, my loritab is kicking in, i can feel it real good now......woooooooo

Please don't compare Newman with meIon, he is 3-times the CB that meIon ever was because he actually makes tackles while meIon usually did his matador routine. Yeah, yeah, I know ESPN has made meIon into some kind of football god because he was so great for highlights but I remember way too many times when he got lit up by the better receivers like Irvin, Rice, Jimmie Smith, Reed (pick one), Chris Carter, Herman Moore, and even Keenan McCardell.

meIon was/is the most overrated player in the history of the NFL. Yeah he was incredibly fast and made some awesome plays but he gave up an awful lot of big plays too while the truly great CBs hardly ever gave up big plays. All that BS about him shutting off half the field was bunk. Yeah he dominated lesser WRs but he was routinely beaten by the top guys I named. The guy was one-dimentional while Newman is fast becoming one of th best all-around DBs in the game.
