GrossWhen I was 9 I used to bite my nails and save them for good luck while listening to the game on the radio
I've been watching the Cowboys since 1974. I can't remember ever watching a Cowboy game anywhere but in my home, by myself. Of course, I've allowed my wife and daughter to sit quietly in the room and bring me food and drink as needed, but there is no conversation. I like to focus on the game, is what I tell them. The other day, my daughter asked, "why do you chat with your friends on the CZ during the game, but you can't talk to us?". I had to explain to her, "they aren't my friends, they're a bunch of idiots and I only post during the game to correct them, because I feel sorry for their ignorance.". Sorry, guys!
What are your confessions?
Edit! I don't really think you guys are idiots. At least, most of you. Lol
I love to pause the game on purpose. That's fanatic heaven.I've skipped family functions for 20 plus years. U name it I've missed it. I like to get behind on the game just a bit now, just to fast forward through 30 ford commercials, but have never watched one recorded because I wasn't home.
That's AWESOME. That's how we used to get my moms novelas!! LolAs kid we had a big outdoor antenna mounted on a 2" pipe that was on the ground and extended above the peak of the roof.
When games were blacked out in DFW, my Dad and I would turn the antenna to get reception from Waco or Witcha Falls. One of us would put a pipe wrench on the antenna pipe and the other would view the TV to "tune" the reception. My Mom had to be in the middle relay the message.
I always wanted to be fancy enough to get one of those electric remote antenna turners. Sears had one for about $60.That's AWESOME. That's how we used to get my moms novelas!! Lol
We've come a long way!!!I always wanted to be fancy enough to get one of those electric remote antenna turners. Sears had on for about $60.
Its a must!!. But very time consumingYes, the in-laws have to be trained...
It's better than picking my nose and saving them.
I certainly drink on most game days but I try not to get to the point where I can't remember details of the game the next day. That becomes challenging during prime time games.

. We had one...can't remember who made it. l remember the old man having to go out side to turn the antenna on Saturday night..so we could get a less terrible image of Hockey Night in Canada!!I always wanted to be fancy enough to get one of those electric remote antenna turners.
