To get into the proper frame of mind, I have to watch at least one of the pre-game shows. It really gets my adrenaline flowing to hear the talking heads disparage the Cowboys.

I've been watching the Cowboys since 1974. I can't remember ever watching a Cowboy game anywhere but in my home, by myself. Of course, I've allowed my wife and daughter to sit quietly in the room and bring me food and drink as needed, but there is no conversation. I like to focus on the game, is what I tell them. The other day, my daughter asked, "why do you chat with your friends on the CZ during the game, but you can't talk to us?". I had to explain to her, "they aren't my friends, they're a bunch of idiots and I only post during the game to correct them, because I feel sorry for their ignorance.". Sorry, guys!
What are your confessions?

Edit! I don't really think you guys are idiots. At least, most of you. Lol

As kid we had a big outdoor antenna mounted on a 2" pipe that was on the ground and extended above the peak of the roof.

When games were blacked out in DFW, my Dad and I would turn the antenna to get reception from Waco or Witcha Falls. One of us would put a pipe wrench on the antenna pipe and the other would view the TV to "tune" the reception. My Mom had to be in the middle relay the message.

I've skipped family functions for 20 plus years. U name it I've missed it. I like to get behind on the game just a bit now, just to fast forward through 30 ford commercials, but have never watched one recorded because I wasn't home.
I love to pause the game on purpose. That's fanatic heaven.

When I was 9 I used to bite my nails and save them for good luck while listening to the game on the radio

Okay, that has a side of creepiness to it. Saved your bitten off fingernails? That's like that crazy Aussie that saved his bellybutton fuzz (aka, lint) and then took the jar of that on Johnny Carson's tonight show!

For me, football is an interactive we experience... unless the Cowboys are losing, then you had best leave me the *** alone!

I certainly drink on most game days but I try not to get to the point where I can't remember details of the game the next day. That becomes challenging during prime time games.
Bay10--- I use to be total alcoholic...and i loved my booze....but i created so much wreckage in my life and to myself i had to stop..never understood people saying they drink for the taste?....i only drank to get it from bottle into stomach....not for taste...but to each his own...GO COWBOYS
