Fridge doesn't look too promising
Current inventory has 1/2 can of Alpo (savory chicken flavor), some hardened green Velveeta (originally yellowy-orange) & 3 strips of unidentifiable meatlike coldcuts (olive loaf, perhaps)
Anybody got any ideas?

Nice crisp autumn day, we're making some chicken soup from scratch. Daughters baking some cookies, I'm gonna go grab some blue moon. Love game days.

Nice, my husband makes chicken noodle soup once a week.

I so want to that bacon onion rings...hm...I'm pregnant, maybe I can convince my husband I have a craving??!

Just out of curiosity, have any of you guys ever tried Tamales in a can? I saw them at a dollar store and bought a can, it sat in my pantry for months, never tried them, fed them to the cats.

Those things are an abomination to mankind. They aren't tamales, they are an angry gesture towards food.


Got some spare ribs smoking on the BBQ since early this morning. They should be ready about 2:00, I should be stuffed full and fighting off the urge to take a nap around game time.

Nothing special today, the wife is making Asado de Puerco with mexican rice, guacamole and flour tortillas. For you non Texans, Asado de Puerco is cubed pork meat in ancho chile sauce. Very tasty on a cool day. It was 40 degrees in deep South Texas this morning.
What's on your menu??

I've been on a crazy Indian kick lately.

About to start grilling a few chicken breasts that have been soaking in some Bourbon and homemade Carolina BBQ sauce.

Had to buy the big bottle of Makers so there will be enough for my gameday ritual of drinking during the game.

I will drink to that !!!

Just wondering if Kirk Cousins count as Indian food? If so I hope all the Dallas Cowboys defense has some Indian food too.... lol
