Weather a little cooler here in the metro so some meatball subs and fries sound about right today. Go Cowboys keep climbing the draft board.
Not sure yet. Think it will be whatever is in the freezer. Have some nice large butterfly shrimp. I guess will throw in some tater tots, and a small salad. Or some other shrimp, so may be shrimp scampi.
So, I'm thinkin' bout some anti-indigenous food to MIN and decided to go to Louisiana and some Cajun fare to spite them horn wearing, horn blowing funny talkin' Norsepersons. I will trump their Viking horn with my Aiiiiiiiiiyyyyyyyeeeeee as I prep my Cajunchow. If the Saints win and Cowboys lose, I may have to modify this in the future to a YeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaawwww but that's for chili and BBQ. Everyone knows that. I don't do Swedish food because the yodeling bothers my dogs. And hot women show up at the door. You start mixing in your regional exclamations with your bill of fare and you could be creating a football/food maelstrom. I was putting a pork butt on the smoker during a Razorback game one time and started calling the Hogs and the damned thing came back to life, jumped down and ran off, dragging it's butt like a hound. Gonna fix some BBQ Shrimp with a Nawlins Soaked Salad and crusty French bread to go with the crusty cook.
We're having homemade chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes (not a mix) & some kind of green food on the side cause my wife likes that.
I really like meatloaf. Just after I got married we went out to NY to see and meet my wife's family and at one point her mother asked me what I would like for dinner while out there. I said meatloaf and she asked if I was raised in a trailer park. My ex-wife's family is very wealthy and they think only trailer park people eat meatloaf. . .
We are having Mexican food. Me monster burrito with this orange sauce at this place that is like crack. Also having jalapeño poppers and beer.
I love meatloaf. Was actually one of my Mom's regular meals growing up & my wife makes it for me now.
Linguine Marinara This time of year Sunday dinner was usually pasta and meatballs at grandma's house. I'm too lazy to make meatballs - mine are never as good as hers anyway.
Rain and cold in the northeast, all day fire in the Vermont castings wood-stove, Red Zone until our out 4:25 EST game start. Slow cooked baby back ribs, baked mac and cheese and corn bread. Love this time of year
Went with brats and jalapeño poppers. The key is truffle mustard and jalapeño relish, plus the bacon wrap. I think the Boys win today, I’m hoping for the defense to show up big and Gilbert to come off the bench.
