All the traditional dead bird day stuff.

Wasn't going to do anything, a simple regular grilled chicken with some seasoning, salad, or some potato dish.
Keep it simple. Or like last year, it was taco's, rice, beans, something different.

However, the ex wife and our son, and his family decided they wanted a traditional T-Day stuff. So they are coming over to use the kitchen and house.

Just me and my wife at the table today- C-19 precautions keeping us from the rest of the fam. So just a small Turkey, smaller portions of all the usual sides. But what I’m really looking forward to my wife’s fantastic, unusual Apricot pie with homemade whipped cream.

Happy Thanksgiving my friends and go Cowboys!

Having T-Giving at the parents’ house. They’re making oven baked turkey, smoked brisket, smoked baby back ribs, and sides. I’m currently baking cherry and mixed berry pies as my contribution.

Never was a fan of turkey, so I do ham. Then my sister informed me tradition was out this year.

In keeping with topsy-turvy 2020, she wanted a fish, shrimp and crab dinner. Her call since I'm going to her house this year. Still taking the ham and 3 pounds of catfish, 3 pounds of shrimp, Old Bay seasoning and a pot for the crab (which I'm cooking when I get there). Besides her share of the fish, shrimp, and crab, I was able to negotiate fresh homemade tamales as restitution for my pain and suffering!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I am at work today at the hospital. Might get called off early and make it to the family feast - all the usual trimmings: turkey, sweet potatoes, green beans, rolls, mashed taters with pan gravy, cranberry salad, and all the condiments. Pecan pie, pumpkin pie, and Amish sugar cream pie.
If I don't get off work, it's hospital food, which isn't bad. They serve good food.
