Other teams were interested then, he had a good year with miami, or lets say the O there had a good year, so he looked good.
Then he came to dallas with Romo in his first year, and a pretty good team, and they went 13-3, then flopped in the playoffs,

So yeah teams were interested back then, but owners all have a different view of him now, and some might want him,
I know other coaches keep getting jobs, so he would get a job with some team.

But he is locked in here in dallas now, for no telling how long.

or GM's around the league, they are the ones who would have to like and want him.
I have no idea, but I would imagine he would get another HC gig somewhere.
Any HC that has some degree of success, gets a 2nd chance, and some a 3rd chance, Norv turner had 3 maybe 4?
After that it is back to OC or DC usually.
JG is making so much money, he may just retire after Cowboys, and no telling how long he might be here.
Thing is by the time dallas gets another HC I will probably no longer be in this life.

Well we will have to wait a long time to find out if they would or not.
He will be in dallas a long time. Jerry has invested time and money in trying to make a HC out of JG, and he already said he expects that to pay off
down the road.
JG is easy for the jones boys to get along with, he does as he is told, and the Jones boys can play at running a team, it is like a game
to them, and they enjoy it.
They want to win, but they dont have to, the money just keeps rolling in whether they win or lose.

Now they have decided to not resign half the defense, so this extends the process even further, more excuses now.
And I am all for replacing some of the guys that are leaving, but not all at once, and in year we draft lower than we have in years at 28

Wasnt my wish, I know some feel that way.
They all played pretty good last season.
I think the problem was more with scheme in certain situations than the players.
And JG has very little to do with what players are paid. Or who is resigned, he wanted murray resigned, but didnt get
that, so he has a say, but jones boys make the decisions.

Well this thread is about extending the process, and that with romo gone, and now these other players, many on def,
that they have plenty of excuses now for not doing good.

Many here will be ok with it, they like the process and JG, so will see it as building the team.
Others wont like it.
It seems to me dallas is building like NE, but NE gets good players cheap who want a ring.
No one is coming to dallas for chance at a ring, it is about the money or they are cowboy fans.
And dallas has gotten cheap real cheap on what they will pay.
