We have some success in the regular season the last couple years over the NFCE. But we are paper tigers until proven otherwise. Im not thumping my chest over a few regular season wins

You realize that from 1966 to 1973, Landry's Cowboys finished first in the NFC East or Capitol 7 of the 8 years correct?

From 76 to 81, they finished first in the East 5 out of 6 seasons.

In Landry's first 5 seasons in the NFL, the Cowboys finished 7th, 6th and 5th three times in their division. After that, 24 seasons, Landry's Cowboys finished 1st in the Division 13 times, 2nd seven times, 3rd twice, 4th once and 5th once. Nobody has ever owned the NFC East like Landry did.
