one issue that has burned me up for a long long time about Dallas is their lack of toughness and specifically Wade failing to address this key factor in being successful. During Garrett press conf this is what he said:

Guys are gonna get hurt, different things are gonna happen in course of the game...its how you respond and ultimately its about mental toughness.

Now I know a bunch of you need to see how this plays out...but my mind is made up...Garrett is the future. He says the right things and is finally giving cowboy fans something we have been starving to see....discipline and accountability where mental toughness wins out.

That my friend, is definitely part of the talent lacking in this team.

He's saying and doing all the right things. He's being the exact opposite of Wade Phillips, which is what you guys needed. Whether or not that translates to wins is another thing. He can instill the right habits and such but anyone with authority can do that. If he continues to gameplan and execute in game as he did yesterday, of course he's the right guy.

Could Garrett basically be saying.......play lights out, dont worry about making "business decisions"---if you get a chance to jack a guy up on D --Jack him.

The mental toughness comes in getting the should I hit em' completly out of a guys head.....injuries are karma, Be the guy delivering the blow.

I watch the Ravens and steelers being the most physical teams especially on D yr after year.......I'd venture to say their incidence of injury is no higher, could actually be lower as compared to finesse teams
