I have a feeling that if Garret gets the offer for the Rams HC Jerry may give him offer for HC now!!! They did say there still may be coaching changes. It makes sense. Do not put anything past Jerry!!! TO will be gone in this case. If this happens JG will come in with a lot of pull giving Jerry a choice between him and TO. Will see.

really? i think if he has an offer, jerry says take it or leave it...up to you...but you're not getting anything more here...if JG leaves....shanahan comes in and wade and either take a demotion to DC or leave. if he leaves, we see someone like romeo crennel here. maybe nolan if he hasn't signed elsewhere....then kyle shanahan comes in as OC (kubiak wouldn't block this move after what shanahan has done for him in the past).

I don't know if Garrett will get a HC job but I do think Wade Phillips is the HC period end of story, Jerry has also said Wade is the HC and I don't think that changes regardless of what Jason does or not

I heard an interesting scenario regarding Garrett on the Sports Animal out of OKC. I think it was Pat Jones talking about it. If, and that's a big if, Garrett is hired as an HC somewhere, we'll need to hire someone to fill that hole.

His thought was if Garrett is hired by someone, Shanahan could be hired to be the OC until 2010. He said they are hearing in some circles that Shanny doesn't want to be out this year.

IMO, that would work nicely. Jerry could say he stuck to his plan to keep Wade, and also "get rid" of Garrett.

I know it might seem far-fetched, but I could also see it happening, too.

I sure as hell hope that Jerry does take Nolan as your DC. When he was our DC here with the Commanders a few years back, our defense was pathetic.
So by all means, please petition Jerry to hire Nolan Ryan as your DC, lol. I'll even sign the petition myself!
