Jerry Jones will still try to sell progress to the suckers and bring Garett back claiming injuries, rather than incompetence, cost us yet another season.

The STASH is here and he hits the nail on the head. Coach Jones will be doing some serious excuse-making for Asst Coach Garrett

Then if Dallas were to win this game, a game you fully expect us to lose and or get blown out then how could it not justify keeping Garrett for the last year of his contract. No doubt cards are stacked aginst Garrett, defense is and has been hurting and not the franchise QB is out. No way Dallas should win so then what if they do?

Hey, if Garrett were to somehow pull this out, even I, one of his harshest critics would have to eat some crow and concede that he might deserve another season.

That said, I have absolute faith in him failing yet again and confirming what I've always believed to be true.

I think it's just the opposite.

He just got a free pass from his chief enabler for a game that's already lost.

I think we'll get embarrassed Sunday Night and Jerry Jones will still try to sell progress to the suckers and bring Garett back claiming injuries, rather than incompetence, cost us yet another season.

He'll blame injuries and replace Kiffin. And if anyone has any doubts who is the real HC of the Cowboys, just watch who chooses the next DC. Once again Jerry will be pulling the strings.

Garrett gets a 10 year extension?

I said nothing of a 10 year deal he has a year remaining. I have said before the season started this very well could be a make or break year from Garrett. Right now he has been handed a no win situation, based on what many feel right now Dallas does not have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. If Garrett can pull this off I think he very well could buy time and made even rightfully so

No-win situation? More like a no-lose situation.

Fair enough statement.

I think Jones will give it some thought to getting rid of him but ultimately will give him one more year with a new defensive coordinator..again.. perhaps Leslie Frazier if he is let go

I didnt say that you said that. Why do people here get so defensive? Its the holiday season...Tis the season to be jolly! You asked....if they arent supposed to win, but they do...then what happens to Garrett.

And I asked: 10 year extension? As in maybe thats what Jerry would feel he deserves.

Win or lose, I think JG is back.
Of course, if his team closed out the Detroit and Green Bay games...he'd probably be a division champ already.

I certainly hope that is the case.

Accountability is a good thing.

Accountability is a good thing when it runs throughout an organization. From top to bottom.

When the only ones held accountable are the bit parts beneath the cancer that has destroyed this franchise, I'm not sure it means much other than looking for this year's scapegoat.

Oh, I completely agree.

Until 'new era Al Davis' holds himself accountable, nothing changes except the names of the puppets.

"Why do we always come here? I guess we'll never know. It's like some kind of torture, to have to watch this show!"

Anyone?

Around here you never know. I think the best he can get is the one year remaining on contract but should Dallas lose I think he very well could be fired. Of course who is out there that Jones would be interested in would play a part as well.

Garretts job was safe with or without Romo playing. Its safe no matter what the outcome of the game. Jerry already said it publicly. He might be a fool, but he is not a liar.Garrett will be back next year guarenteed .remember that.
