... in the divisional road games.

I know some Cowboys fans want Garrett out of Dallas. Give the man credit though for having a 76.5% winning percentage on the road against the three arch-stooges.

Its a fair point. But you can then look at his poor record at home and say the opposite.

Hes a great team builder and a motivating players coach, but hes awful at game planning, time management and subpar at overall X and O philosophy.

He's an average head coach right now that needs to address a lot in the off-season.

He's too relationship-y with the players. He was red-eyed in the presser post game tonight as if he'd been crying in the locker room with players. Seriously, you just squeaked out an ugly win despite yourself to go 4-8 and you bawl like a baby? This ain't some afterschool special where we're all looking to learn life lessons, it's big boy football.

Give me a Belichick/Parcells/Landry X and O guy who expects these men to play well not give them Tony Robbins speeches

Garrett isn't the only coach to bawl in front of his players. Parcells cried after the his first Cowboys win (because it was against the Giants). Landry reportedly cried after a playoff game. Not sure about Belichick - probably too busy cheating.

Garrett is 7-9 at home vs the East. So it's as close to the opposite record of his road record as we are to 7-5.

Hopefully he addresses it by giving himself the pink slip

End of game coaching was abysmal

I don't know why you do anything there but run up the gut 3 times and kick an old school extra point.

Only an idiot scores a TD and lets the other team have the ball when you could have milked the clock down to 10 seconds.

I swear, Garrett is about as dumb as they come when it comes to end game management, I have seen 10 yr olds playing Madden with better awareness than he has..................WOW

I can't blame Garrett because of what McFadden did. Run was the correct call but you really think Garrett said score? In the middle of the game Garrett doesn't run it up the gut, he passes on the goal line to score. I think McFadden scored on his own, hell he even went out of bounds instead of going down in bounds

I just do not understand his thinking, why allow Mcfadden to run out of bounds, then immediately score on the next play? Completely inept play calling...

After DMC ran out of bounds, Garrett should have made sure everyone was on the same page as far as melting the clock. In no way do you give the ball back to the opposition with over a minute the left on the clock with 2 timeouts. Reminds me of Coughlin/Eli in Week 1.

My problem with this series is that this is situational football, this is something that should be gone over continuously in the preseason, it is just incredibly disappointing. If the Cowboys had lost this game then I believe that Jason would probably be in a precarious situation come this off-season.

My other question would be the kick off, why wasn't Bailey instructed to kick the ball out of the endzone? Why did he kick it short? Maybe he was instructed to kick it out of the endzone, I didn't hear Garrett's postgame press conference so I don't know.

And not surprisingly, we have yet to see a single poster enter this thread and actually give Garrett credit for the team's road success against rivals.

He would be a great JV or HS coach for those reasons.
