Garrett just said Romo checked out of a run on the INT

It was all Romo. He checked out of the run. Dilfer is saying you can't do that. Lose a yard on a run and let the clock wind. Also, once the INT was thrown, Aikman said it was a smart route on Beasley since the defender was right there. Romo made a bad call checking out of the run and then made a bad throw.

If Garrett had managed the game better and utilized Murray their would not have been any issue with an audible. No way Garrett gets off the hook for this one. No chance. What a ******.

A coach never throws a player under the bus. period.

It's all about to implode. They've tried to shorten his leash for years and he simply thinks he knows better. We were running for OVER 7 yds a carry all GAME....the guy always wants to sling it. The "gunslinger" crap got old about 4 yrs ago. Don't blame Red: he knows he's gonna be gone anyway. Doesn't matter anymore.

See the blame Romo thread. This has been my premise. Romo keeps changing the play calls at the line. They need to take the run/pass option away from him. He is not smart enough to know how to use it.

Garrett said a run play was called and tony changed it to a pass - then threw the INT - no wonder Murray was so pissed.

If he audible out of a call and ultimately lost the game he should be called out.

If we had been running the ball all along we would have still been up by a couple of scores and this would be a non-issue.
