Going into a season that many felt would be one of the worst teams in the NFL and lead them to thus far 11-4 mark and the NFC East Championship. Coach Garrett has earned it. Way to go coach!!!!!

Still not a fan of Garrett. He's got an incredible amount of talent (at least on offense) and a fantastic coaching staff surrounding him, but you can't not bring him back after an 11/12 win season and division title.

Props to Garrett. (11-4 or better), division champs, possible first round bye. The players have bought in. The offense is dominating. The defense improves by the week. This is all happening under Jason Garrett. Anyone who says Garrett isn't the reason isn't being reasonable.

Even though I was a big Garrett supporter, but the end of last season, I was ready to move (esp after the GB game). But after seeing what they've done this year, and how the team has bought into his way, I don't see how you even think about letting him go at this point.

He's been here 7 years as an offensive coordinator and head coach, and still don't think he's head coaching material..

This is absolutely amazing to me. I don't understand a lot of you guys I guess.

I can't imagine much more fun than this game and the scenarios/matchups that are coming up. This is what us fans live for, a clean and clear run for the big game with a team that's peaking.

I actually feel for you guys that cross your arms and hate on Jason who has taken us here. Not because I think I'm right, and jeez we could certainly be buried under an awful loss in the playoffs, but if you can't enjoy what the head coach is doing with this team right now then what is going to get you going?

Correct me if I am wrong….

A lot didn't like Landry as well… right?
And a lot do not like Belichick as well…right?

Not saying Garrett is in their league (yet) .. but he does have the characteristic of a successful hated coach LOL .. And I am happy to be proven right since I was on the bandwagon since day one….

Harbaugh is the only guy I would take over Garrett.

Not a Garrett fan either but it's pointless to get rid of him unless we can replace him with quality.

Plus it took forever but today we finally implemented the slant and our offense will be unstoppable with more routes like that.

Some of you are tough. A lot of you are missing so far, too. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt you're drinking egg nog at a party right now.

I've been on the fence since the last part of 2007 for him being an OC then a HC. I've leaned his way on occasion and even thought about getting off. But you cannot deny the upward direction of this team over the last three years. Yeah, it didn't show up in the win column the last two and it did this year. That's enough of a trend for me to be ok with climbing down and joining the party. The East is great but look at how this team finished the year and the character of the team. Sounds like a cliche and some of it is but great leaders lead great men. Jason and Tony can nod in each other's direction but they are both a part of the solution.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Wade Phillips went 13-3 and claimed to have won a playoff game in his first year and I still would have fired his butt after that home loss to the Giants in the playoffs. You could just see that thing going south after he made horrendous comments like "well technically we won a home playoff game with the bye" (Or whatever stupid thing he said.)

What's my point? The final record isn't the entire story, its a question of the direction of the team. I still can't tell if our success this year is due mostly to the team finally getting it right or if we are mostly reaping the benefits of being a little bit better than the bulk of teams in a watered down league full of parity. Winning some playoff games would go a long way to relieving the remaining doubt and believing Garrett and company can keep it going into future seasons and not flame out like so many other erstwhile division champions.

I have always liked Red, liked the idea that he was home grown and that he was around during the 90's dynasty teams. Always figured that he would try to do it the way those teams did it...OL and RUN the ball. Took him a few drafts but tell me he is not following that 90's blueprint. Our drafting has become better and the players seem to love the guy, well maybe not TO and Crayton.

Romo even said it in his presser tonight that those 8-8 teams were not very good and it was amazing that they were even able to put themselves in that position.

The only question is how long of an extension. I'm sure he and Jerry already have a handshake agreement.

is there ANY among you who would not go ahead and resign Garrett to an extension? NFC East Champs in a season when most (certainly me) thought we'd go 5-11 at best?

Even if you don't like him, there is a whole lot of "if it ain't broke" goin' on.

This is looking like an elite team right now. I wouldn't mess with it at all right now.

SO STOKED!!!

Somehow.. Some way.. I have grown to like him. It took a lot of angst and soul searching but I like him in his current role now very much.

garrett is NOT in their league or even close to it and only a true gomer would claim otherwise. This is his first WINNING SEASON. HOW MANY DID LANDRY HAVE? HOW MANY DOES BELICEK HAVE?

Props to Garrett. I just want to win. Stars aligned. Linehan and the O Line have done wonders for the offense. Marinelli has done a great job with spare parts. Most importantly the team seems to be playing its best ball at the end of the year.

Today I saw a legit coaching advantage.

Usually we win just because we out athlete other teams but the play designs today were very good.

We must've used more slants in 1 game then Garretts entire time as coach.

I am afraid this season has all of the makings of 2007, and I hope I am wrong.
