I will say, if they bring in a vet with the idea of him starting, it would tell me they have no faith in Street--which goes against everything we heard in camp.

Jenkins or maybe even Porter make the most sense, really.

Moss is 38 but I suspect he's better than most mentioned. What's up with Crabappletree?

Please stop with the AJ Jenkins idea. He proved he isn't anything special in preseason... and there's a reason nobody wanted him.

Reggie Wayne is the best option in my opinion. I wanted him before the Dez injury. People are acting like he's worthless now but his production never really fell off that much, he's just had injury problems. Randy Moss is a different story. He hasn't done anything since 2009.

If Wayne is healthy I don't see why we wouldn't bring him in.

This should show the front office we need to add a significant WR or two in the offseason.

Wayne can walk right in tomorrow and produce. That's what we need. I'm not interested in bringing up a practice squad guy. We need somebody who's going to help us beat the Eagles on Sunday.

This makes so much sense it probably won't happen.

Yeah, we need an immediate impact player and anyone on a PS would be a waste of time.

That is the exact reason it should be Jenkins. He has practiced with Romo for weeks.

We need someone with some speed on the outside.

Can't argue with this. He's definitely a Z but Williams will have to man up and play the X if so.

You can't just have a PS guy come in and compete. He'll run the wrong route and eventually that's an INT and often forcing Romo to make another read.

I'd rather play Escobar, Williams and Street as the X with the free guy playing the Z and Beasley as the W. Beasley can play the Z some depending on who's got him and the coverage but he'll probably have problems trying to play the X.

I say we go with what we got. Let Romo do what he does best and turns ordinary receivers into studs. Roy Williams broke his ribs and we started Miles Austin against the chiefs. 200 some yards and a pro bowl. When he left, Miles did noting. Terrel Owens and Romo were a prolific qb receiver duo, once Owens left for Bills and Bengals, he was a non-factor (He was old tho). But my point is, if our oline is healthy I think we can survive without signing a receiver with Romo throwing the ball. I'm really concerned about Leary, I'm just as stressed about that guy as I am about our other injuries. But anyway I feel if we bring in another receiver it will stunt the growth of our young guys and I believe Romo and our oline can make Streets or Whitehead serviceable until 88 is throwing up the X again.

Antonio Bryant? Miles Austin Miles? Freddie Mitchell? I think it's time to call a T.O...
