Going into week three, I think this team still desperately needs to find an identity. That identity needs to be on the ground, running the ball. I want to see this team come out and run the ball 40 times, use play-action, use both Elliott and Dunbar in the backfield on the same plays. Use Dunbar to create mismatches in coverage. Spread out opposing teams and open up lanes for Elliott.

We need to see the defensive line really step up in this game. The Commanders did us a huge favor in defeating the Giants, but we're still in a position where we need to keep up with the Eagles before Romo returns. Going 2-2 or 1-3 is not enough here. This team needs to go 3-1 and it has the schedule to do it. The defense was able to contain New York and Washington, two offenses that are better than this Bears team this week, and the 49ers are very beatable.

We have a very easy schedule this year. There is no excuse for us not to win this division and make it to the playoffs. This team should be aiming for a top seed even without Romo.

I will say however that next year, we need to put a lot of resources into the defense, but we need Sean Lee to really lead this defense and take it up another level. Durant may be better than Hitchens which is a bit depressing. I can only hope beyond hope that Smith recovers and can jump into the starting lineup next year.

Players I'm watching tonight:
Ezekiel Elliott - I'm looking for 120 yards, 1-2 touchdowns, no fumbles
Lance Dunbar - I'm looking for 3 big receptions
Tyrone Crawford - I'm looking for consistent pressure off the edge
Sean Lee - I'm looking for him to take over the game like he did against Philadelphia last year.
