He’s a very respected guy. He’s performed 2 surgeries on my son.
This signing would be the definition of "progress stopper"......for guys like Gallimore and Osa Odighizuw. No thanks.
That’s pretty cool
Hope nothing serious
He is one of the best and if millionaire players respect him I’d sure want him if I ever needed surgery
Fish is a hack.
Always knew it was shady when the guy who performed the surgery gave him such a blatant thumbs up.
every surgeon I have ever dealt with in my life says that same line..THEY ALL SAY "good as new" "it was a success." I had spinal fusion done at my neck, my doc at the time said the same thing the Dallas docs have said. In fact, they all say it. What do we expect them to say? lol..."I'm not sure?" I dont fault the Dallas docs, its standard practice for them to trust in their own ability and to be supremely confident. Its up to the team and what have you to read between the tea leaves and do their own due diligence on a player, not the doc.
Look if you can get Geno on a contract like you had McCoy on go do it.
You can never have enough guys in the room.
Play him see what he has left in the tank. You would rather do this earlier then later.
If he has nothing then he goes away
Didnt look good for him when he was a healthy scratch 80% of the time his rookie year.
After having several spinal fusion surgeries I can honestly say that the spine is never as good as new after a surgery. The fusion may get rid of the major problem, but it seems like that major problem is replaced by several small, irritating problems.
Age 33 coming off an injury and not really a run stopper per se.
They should focus on what it takes to peak in 2022 because the probability is low with regards to completely revamping the defense in 1 season.
Build the defense with young players and just enough veterans to allow the coaches to implement the scheme in a reasonable amount of time.
Even if a once great old player is cheap, they still take a roster spot from a young player. The probability of a team successfully developing young players is improved with each additional young player retained.
well said my friend. I concur 100%. Same here.
Would rather sign Malik Hooker of the two.
If this guy is cleared medically and he can be signed for a reasonable price, then this is a no brainer to me.
I feel the same way but love when an elite one is available for cheap. I’d be 100% on board with Atkins
Cowboys are a top 10 defense away from being a legitimate contender.
LOL at the doctor shaming in this thread.
