Gerald Sensabaugh to wear cast for season

Safety Gerald Sensabaugh will wear a cast on his right thumb for the rest of the season.
"I banged it up a little bit the last couple of games and it got sore," Sensabaugh said. "The trainers think it'll be best for me to wear it the rest of the year and then it'll be fine when the season ends."
Sensabaugh suffered the injury in the second quarter of the loss at Denver on Oct. 4 and missed the next game against Kansas City. He has not missed a start since and has 39 tackles, eight pass deflections and his only interception.

Cowboys can't afford slow start

Every team talks about the importance of getting off to a fast start.
The difference is San Diego goes out and does it.
The Chargers have outscored opponents 52-7 in the first quarter of their 7-game winning streak. The Cowboys? Well, they have scraped together a not-so-grand total of three points in the first quarter over the last four games.
If that trend continues Sunday, the Cowboys are in trouble.
