Thanks Emmitt, that was beautiful.

It gets more embarrassing each week.

Oh well.

I'm finding Tommy more annoying each passing week. He's not the same guy.

Yes. More time for Emmitt then.
He's not much better, but at least he lets Key talk.

I applaud Tom Jackson in that exchange.

Jackson actually prepares for his job -- he's not up there saying whatever crazy crap comes to his mind.

I wish I could suck at my job as well as Emmitt and still be employed.

Love the player, but please, exit the TV cameras forthright.

I'd prefer they stick to football and stop their race baiting. We don't need the ever pretentious espn/disney to be the self-appointed social conscience in the NFL, just cover the games.

And they should realize that they can hire someone who isn't an ex-NFL'er. It is possible to speak with authority without actually having played in the league. Their pool of on-air talent is too confining.

that might be even worse...his excuse fest for McNabb was pathetic...and he "prepared" for it

At least Emmitt picked us. He's just terrible up there though. Key too.

I don't know why they think good ex-players make good TV analysts...

some do, some dont

they had no reason to get rid of Irvin...this show is so drab and lousy now, I couldnt care less if it was even on the air...Berman- horrible, Jackson- horrible, Young- average, Ditka- horrible, Emmitt- horrible, Mort's segments- worthless

its a 3rd rate production now

I liked Emmitt's choice for surprise 0-2 team that would be 0-3.

Emmitt's selection?

The 1-1 Chargers.

I heard that too and was like..Huh? Mike Ditka pointed that the Chargers were 1-1 and he said that first win didn't count. :laugh2:
