Sorry if I came off wrong. Losing Murray to the Eagles has me feeling a bit annoyed....I live in the philly metro area. I hate hearing these baboons acting happy.

Let them be happy in March. It will make it all the better when they look like this during the season:

Maybe the FO is scrambling right now? Maybe they thought, Murray will never get that kind of money?

And now they are all sitting there in the "ohh @#$##" meeting room,,,,,,,,,,

And its starting to sink in a little................. Someone , not just someone, the Eagles, now have Demarco....and we dont. And there really isnt anything left in the FA market. And, AP/AD isnt available yet and may never be.

If he does become available. Lets get him!!!! damn the cost.

I think the Cowboys were sitting pretty.,,,,until Chippy became involved. Until Murray called Chippy. Then, we, and maybe the FO said, Chippy isnt that crazy is he? And then Bam!!!

We have nothing at RB. And the Eagles just got our 1800 yard back who pushed us into the playoffs.....and to 12-4 instead of 8-8. Chippy really is that crazy!!

Ya that makes sense. Ill give you an example. In soccer, for example, Cristiano Ronaldo's jersey sales, have paid for his first and second year salary. Still think jerseys are lowly and dont matter?

Matters less when you have to split the proceeds with 31 other teams, as well as 50% of it going to the players as part of the CBA.

With Real Madrid, they don't share the proceeds with anyone.

And the local government give them sweet heart deals when they need it.

Why bother with Spiller? I wouldn't. Yes I'm worried about the Romo window but I think we will be fine.

We may very well be okay. Maybe?

But this isn't the action(s) of a team getting ready to make a push into the Super Bowl.......

Yes, long term, financially, I think its the prudent move to make. But not for next year.
They are taking too big of a risk, imho. We will have to wait until next year to see how it pans out....

But, what I am getting from all this is; They have a window of 3-5 years. When I thought the window was 1-3 years.

I dont think for a second Romo will be playing in 4 years. And then what? We have to start over with a QB.......all those things may work out just fine!! ??

But, here is my worst case scenario. We dont make SB in the next 2 years. And Romo is gone.... and we have to start over with a QB and who knows if "that" works out...??
