Get your Texas Stadium turf!

How many of those would I have to buy in order to own the entire field?

That's very cool though, I'll be picking up one for myself.
 
I'm hoping to get some Texas stadium rebar once the demo is complete.

Looks nice, I have some from that last time they replaced the turf. I guess it was 94 or 95.
 
I will pass on this one. I already have one from the original turf from when the stadium 1st opened. Which was replaced by this one.

I received an e-mail about buying one of these, and was disappointed it wasn't cut in the shape of a STAR like the one I have.
 
So, if they are selling this crap with a Cowboys logo on it, doesn't JJ have to share in the profits with the rest of the league?

I don't think so. I believe they stopped the profit sharing some time ago if the team wanted to do their own marketing. Or I think they reduced the percentage at least. Which is what JJ wanted years ago.

yea, i didn't get that one, but i remember them doing that. i wish these had been star shaped too, but it is still worth owning, i think.
 
No thanks, I already got my 92-93 field turf, the stuff real teams played on.

Yes it is, because you know there are only so many of them, not like they are massed produced.
If I didn't have the other one, I would get one of these.

But now it's got me thinking, I should get one, and have both.

Man I honestly could not own a piece of this. The only thing that would go through my mind when I saw it was the final two runs by Baltimore. I would see the turf and think two 80 yard runs to close it out...yuck. So Again, no thanks.
 
that doesn't even look like the turf at Texas Stadium. it looks too dark.
