What's worse is our own fans that are just as bad if not worse. Other teams fans say some stupid crap, but they don't follow the Boys, just watch highlights. Some of the most ignorant comments I have ever heard about the Cowboys, actually come a from their fans.

Are you on Facebook? Just read the comments after the Cowboys make a post. You may not agree with everyone here, but I'd say we are all knowledgeable enough. Some of the comments I've read on FB make me want to kick a puppy.

I make it a point to stay away from all social media after a loss. Sunday I tried getting online to play some black ops 3 and one of my buddies started in on how bad Romo is. Just turned that off too.

Do you play Mortal Kombat X? Just curious. But yeah, FB annoys me. I deactivated my account.

People hate and ridicule greatness because deep down they are really just jealous.

This is true and the hate is more fervent for teams that have actually achieved greatness w/in the rules and guidelines of fair play. Having said that, cheaters are hated for being the POS' that they are.

The Packer bandwagon got exceedingly small in the 25 year period between the Lombardi retiring and Holmgren/Wolf showing up.

They were terrible and there was a fair amount of serious discussion by the mid 80s that maybe it didn't make sense to have a team in a town of 90,000 after all.

When Green Bay and Tampa Bay played twice a year, Chris Berman infamously dubbed their games as the "Bay of Pigs".

That's how terrible those Packer teams where.

They've obviously since rebounded via the current 23 year stretch of Favre/Rodgers.

Right, the Packers were a laughing stock. As were the Giants until Parcells and LT.

This is why I've told my friends that are fans of other teams that if/when we win another SB, I am going to be the biggest ******* for the next year.

And I can't wait to tell people "we have six", while using my middle as the 6th finger.

lololol clever!

Who cares? We haven't won jack in twenty years, Stephen A Smith is right. We don't deserve to be called America's team. America isn't a mediocre country so why should a mediocre sports team be given that name? We ******* suck.

Then that's bandwagoning (don't think that's a word but anyway) you cant take a title "Americas Team" from the team it was originally created 4. Based off our whole fan base in the country there is NO Comparison period!.... Hey America just jump on the side of whoever wins (which does seem to happen btw) I still don't remember this many Patriot fans growing up where im from ijs) but anywho, hey America they won the ship? ok so we can call them Americas team now! man they can take that ish somewhere else I don't see it happening its too many Cowboy fans too many of us (can say ish on here btw? cause I really ment that) idk? as long as u win a championship you are now Americas team.... that statement really never made sense to me we should stop calling them Americas team.. but hey who am I ?

Im sorry but this has to be said, I have been mocked by friends that are fans of the Pats, Carolina, Green Bay, Atlanta, just to name a few. Enough is enough, i actually snapped today and asked every single one of them on our lunch to tell me where their teams would be if they lost Rodgers and Nelson, Ryan and Julio, Brady and Gronk, Newton and Olsen. They all shut up rather quickly. It just gets irritating that you actually have to sit there and explain the situation because they have such a blind hatred for the Cowboys. Have any of you on here had to endure that this season? Hilariously enough, none of my friends who follow NFC East teams have said a word, because they are all in agreement that with Romo we could quite possibly be sealing our playoff appearance in the next 3 weeks and it wouldnt even be close. Id actually like to hear any stories you have if any regarding this.

hell, i'm getting real tired of many of our own fans.

Embrace the hate, baby.

Like I said, hatred is the ultimate compliment because it just means the individual is jealous, whether they admit it or not. But this thread is about football, not Orioles baseball, so please stay on topic.

It's just history. Even though its been 20 years most people hate the Cowboy "5 Super Bowl rings" talk and the Americas Team thing.

I lived in Houston 18 years after growing up in Ft. Worth and going to TCU. When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s the Oilers were a viable secondary team. When I moved there in 1993 there wasn't a lot of talk. When the Texans came along the hate was strong. I liked many Texan fans and even spent a lot of time on their board where there were some really good people. But the town in general had an unhealthy obsession with the Cowboys and "19-10" was constantly brought up from their first win. There was more talk of "Cowboys suck" on talk radio vs Texans talk.

I don't have any friends, so I don't have to worry about stuff like that...

You should've asked them what they would do if JAson Garrett coached their team.

I snapped last week at a party discussing the Hardy thing. Living in NC, I have a friend that is both a Pats/Panther fan. Pretty annoying. He said that their team is better without Hardy and Steve Smith. I also heard this on ESPN Radio - Jalen Rose, saying that the Panthers are 8-0 without Hardy. Now, wait a minute I'm thinking. I said the same to my friend....The Panthers were 7-8-1 without Hardy last year. He didn't play but one game last year. This year has nothing to do with them. They were used to playing without him.

On to your next point. The Panthers would be fine without Cam Newton. He is making 1-3 good throws per game, wildly inconsistent the reset of the game. His defense is the MVP of that team and have provided him with timely turnovers time and time again. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the Panthers are undefeated when Newton hasn't played.

I will say though that it is frustrating that we haven't been able to win without Romo. I would have thought we would have won a couple of games without him. So, maybe the team isn't as good as we really thought? Or is this just a case of bad luck since we have essentially been in every game since Romo has been hurt?

What's tiring are all the know-nothing folks who never watched a down of NFL football until they joined a fantasy football league.

It was a better day when only football fans talked football.
