The bottom line here in my opinion is that the loser is OUT and when I say out im referring to the playoffs. Not only will the loser fall below .500 but more importantly fall behind the winner in a tie breaker scenario which is even more important. Therefore, my question to you guys is this: if given the opportunity to virtually all but eliminate 1 of these 2 teams' season which team do you select? If you ask me- I say the Giants. For whatever reason it is they seem to match up very nicely versus us and no matter how good our run defense is Tiki always seems to have big games and with as bad as out safeties are in coverage Jeremy shockey always seems to come to play. Thus, my opinion is that I would rather NOT face the NYFG again come january. What are you opinions?

Eliminate the Giants from the division.

Carolina is of no consequence as we already have beaten them.

Giants.

Winning the division is the first order of business. One more Giants loss coupled with two Cowboys wins and the division is ours. :D

I don't think it much matters, either way.

There are some other things that are much more important (e.g., if not to the Cardinals, Seattle losing to the Chargers),

Seattle must lose but it is onlt relevent if Dallas wins out.

We meed Carolina to win because the Giants are a division team that plays us tough, so I want them out. My hope is that the Ginats lose to Carolina, but later go on to beat Philly when they play each other. that way Carolina can knoock out the Giants and the Giants can knock out Philly, so that when Dallas plays Philly on Christmas, the contest will be meaningless. That way Dallas can rest more players in the final regular-season week/game and prepare for the playoffs a little early (instead of preparing for the Eagles).

You want my opinion?

My opinion is that, this is a silly question!

The giants need to GO DOWN, PERIOD!

Someone needs to rip Shockey's left ring finger off and stuff it down his throat...and while they are at it? Rip Tiki's thumb off and stuff it down Shockey's throat too!

There, that's my opinion...

Actually... if Seattle loses to Arizona (we would then be even on Common Games), we can lose one and still beat them on Strength of Victory tie-breaker...

Regardless, I believe we win out... the only game that could be close is the Saints.

I'll be there, cheering for the Panthers to rough up She-li and for someone to take out Shockey.

Panthers still have a game at the Saints, and I think at ATL. They are pretty much done, so them winning against the Giants won't matter much.

Go Panthers! I want to lock up the division first. A Cowboys win coupled with a Giants and Eagles loss pretty much wraps up the division

Personally I'd rather face the Panthers in post-season.

Tiki has had huge days against Dallas, so I understand what you mean.

I'll tell you, though, Brandon Jacobs is the guy I fear. I think the Giants screwed up this past Sunday. IMO, they should have fed Jacobs the ball more. I'm not looking forward to getting a bigger dose of Jacobs.

Why worry about Jacobs? He's big and strong, but he's also dumb!

He bounced that run to the left and lost the game...if he would have plowed into the line like the play called for, he would have had a first down!

:laugh2:

You know...I'm not sure why more teams don't have goalline backs like Jacobs. It's not like Jacobs is particularly fast or agile. He just barrels through defenders. Nothing special about it. I'd like to see what Hoyte could do at the goalline. He seems to have that wrecking ball mentality.
