5:04 pm Coach Tom Coughlin thinks TE Darcy Johnson, DT Rocky Bernard and CB Corey Webster are all fine after suffering injuries against Denver. Coughlin also thinks RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/foot) should be ready for more work this week.
5:02 pm There isn’t much news in the way of injuries. “Michael Johnson had the groin and we’re just going to have to wait and see,” said coach Tom Coughlin. “Danny (Ware) (concussion) had a bunch of tests today and we won’t know much more until we follow along the results of those tests.”
2:36 pm The Giants recent 1-5 stretch has not destroyed the team’s morale. “I’m not worried about any fracture or any divide in the locker room.” said C Shaun O’Hara. Even though New York rushed for only 57 yards yesterday, O’Hara added, “I have the utmost confidence in this offensive line.”
2:34 pm With injuries to RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/foot) and RB Danny Ware (concussion), RB Gartrell Johnson might be asked to contribute more. “I know that he’s done a good job of learning this offense,” said C Shaun O’Hara.
2:20 pm DT Barry Cofield doesn't see his surgically repaired knee as a hindrance to his play. "Obviously serious knee surgery takes a lot of time to get back," said Cofield, who is coming back from microfracture surgery. "I feel like I’ve been playing at a high level."
2:17 pm Nobody likes losing on Thanksgiving, but it does give the Giants "more time to prepare (for next Sunday's game against Dallas)," said DT Barry Cofield. "More time to assess what happened yesterday."
12:54 am New York was outrushed 138-57 and had just one sack. "We keep talking about winning the physical battle and controlling the line of scrimmage. We thought this was going to be the night and it wasn't," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said.
12:46 am QB Eli Manning was sacked three times and was intercepted once in completing 24 of 40 throws. "They had some good blitzes they got us with and other times when they didn't blitz, they got a good rush at times ... They kept us out of our rhythm."
12:44 am RB Brandon Jacobs , on whether he’s worried after four losses in five games. “No, because I know we have a lot of talent and at some point it’s going to pick up. We’ve got to really get our engines going for these next couple weeks. “
12:43 am The Giants were sacked and turned the ball over three times apiece in scoring six points. "We have to play harder on offense than we did tonight," RB Brandon Jacobs said. "We looked terrible as a unit and we have to play better -- way better than we played, and if we don't, we'll never have a chance to do anything."
12:41 am The Giants finished with season lows in rushing attempts (16) and yards (57). Both totals set the bar lower than New York's Oct. 18 blowout loss in New Orleans (19 rushes, 84 yards).
12:40 am Running back Danny Ware said after the game that he got his bell rung and while he's unsure of his availability moving forward, felt fine. "I knew where I was and what I was doing and knew what happened,” he said. “At the time it jolted me a little bit.”
