I may be overly confident, but I think we kick the crap out of this Giants team. If we don't, I'll start to have real concerns about week 2 against the Eagles. As well as our offseason has gone, the Giants' has gone about as badly as any team not named San Francisco.

Cowboys struggled to beat the Giants last year and won the division.

Dallas SHOULD kick the daylights out of the Giants. Eli has a knack of playing hot against the Cowboys. That is what concerns me.

He does often times present a challenge, but if this team is as good as we all think it should be, we should mop the floor with this team.

Giants/Cowboys games are usually close. Most divisional games in this league are pretty close it seems. I don't see either team winning by double digits. It will be a close game.

Dallas opened as a favorite and the line has only gotten larger.

Thanks - I was wondering about that.

Forget the ESPN experts - always follow the Vegas money. There's a reason they've got all those pretty lights.

Dallas opens the scoring in the 3rd to go up 24-6.
With 13:45 left in the 4th quarter Dallas goes us 31-6.
The Giants get 2 late game scores and a 2 point conversion to make it a respectable 31-21.

Minus JPP (more than a month away by rumors) and Cruz, I don't think they get this game. Dallas is 3-1 in the first match up against NY under Garrett and I don't think that they have ever lost a season-opener at home to the Giants...I may be wrong but that's my take. I've been reading rookie defensive player of the year projections for Gregory, and he is the one that I'm most excited about. Hopefully Lawrence will surprise "early" as well. Both of them are really the future bookends of a revamped, hopefully more destructive defense.

Yeah, I'm very excited to see our new and improved defensive line against their offensive line myself. If the upgrades are as good as we think and hope, we should make things rough for Eli.

This is the type of game we should win handily if this is the team we think we are.

Exactly my friend................we are clearly superior in almost every position to the Giants.

If we cant beat the Giants, then there is something extremely wrong with this team and we should all start getting very worried. Because if you cant beat the Giants at home, you dam sure aint beating the Eagles on the road and that is an 0-2 start starring you in the face.

How many 0-2 teams even make it to the playoffs, like 20% since playoff expansion?

I thought that was Washington? I'm still trying to figure out how that train wreck of a team managed to beat us last year.

Every season, no matter who sucks, us or the skins, it always seems to be a battle.

Colt freaking McCoy? Seriously?

Throw division games out the window when it comes to predicting this team's performance. No point.

Call me greedy, but I'm thinking back to the days when we ran this division and the only thing that did matter was us beating the rest of the division.

But in all honesty, I see two teams going in opposite directions right now. The Cowboys getting better and the Giants getting worse. Division game or not, the Cowboys are better than the Giants and this game should show that.
