I just realized the giants play on Thanksgiving as well. Couple things come to mind.

1. First time in a while the board is quiet from other whining division fans about how unfair it is we get the extra days off. Of course they never realize how hard it is for the team to get ready for two games so quickly.

2. First time I recall facing another team that played on Thanksgiving and will have the same amount of time off.

I am not trying to be a jerk, but we played green bay in 07 on the thursday after thanksgiving and they had just played at detroit on turkey day.

Should be interesting going to ny in two weeks. That is the restart of the season.

But I'm sure they will cry because they have to play on the road during a short week. Hopefully they will be crying afterwards once Brandon Marshall puts up a big night on the G-men.

That is going to be a big game especially if the Giants win in Denver

I hate, hate, hate the Denver Broncos. But I know one thing; I'll have my Mile High Salute ready to rock on Turkey Day.

So it's in Denver? They have to travel on the short week? Excellent.

Yes it will be. I have a bad feeling about the gnats, I think they are going to get on a roll. If we can go to N.J. and come out of there with a win I will feel a whole lot better. Until then I will be.....:nervous:

I have tickets for the Broncos Giants game... I'll be wearing my ROMO jersey and I'll be holding a sign that says

"Hey Sheli, happy thanksgiving you Turkey"

Weird I do not recall that because I have watched all the games. Old age getting to me perhaps

I'm no giants fans but if I were I would be very concerned with that defense. Yes they won in OT vs alt but that defense is still having major issues. If the Giants get that going then yes they can be very difficult to beat.

Fortunately for the Giants (unfortunately for us) the Denver offense is flat out awful. Giants will probably win by 10+ due to that factor alone.

You could be right but I think Denver wins this game at home. After a quick start they have dropped 4 in a row much like the Giants did. I think Denver comes out swinging in this game to end that 4 game losing streak

I am hoping ny walks into the same buzzsaw we walked into in Green Bay.

I hope it is cold, snowing and windy.

Denver has to win this game, they are going to be out with another loss.

Hopefully moreno can hang onto the ball and orton is sharp.

Coming off our bye week this year, Chris Mortenson said something really interesting in one of his chat wraps. I couldn't find the exact quote. He basically said, that if you give Wade Phillips extra days to prepare his Defense they will give you fits.

I am relaxed about the 10 days even though the Giants have the same 10 days.

I want to take care of Oakland and should that happen, like I believe it will, then that night I'll be rooting HUGE for Denver.

I'd love to stroll into New York on December 6th with the Gmen coming off a (hopefull) loss to the Broncos and then beat them good in their house to give them loss number 6 on the year. That would be fantastic.

The last time we played Bruce Gradowksi on Turkey day, we went to NY next and romo hit witten to setup the field goal to win.

if anyone recalls that is the game Jeremy Shockey said "No way in Hell Dallas can beat us"

What I am waiting for is the awful NY media to start with there Romo cant win a big game in december and can not win up here in NY in a big game in December, when in fact he has already done that.......none of them will bring that up though....watch and see.

For some reason I am totally confident about winning in NY... Almost more confident than I am against the Raiders.

Of course that could change if the Cantynator is back at full strength.

I am too. especially since jacobs said they could beat Dallas anytime they wanted two weeks ago.

I am so mad at myself for not getting my giants cowboys rivalry video done.

at some point it will be done, it would have been nice to have had it ready for next week.

They should be happy for their schedule timing because they get to play Denver while they are falling. They also got to play Oakland at their weakest too. We are playing Oakland with their confidence up and we played Denver with a healthy Orton and confidence up.
