Same thing he was telling us about the kicker. lolJJ is probably waiting to fire JG until all the other coaches are scooped up and then will say there weren't any coaches better than Garrett available, and then give him one more year..JJ is the best turd polisher there is...
All while Jerry schedules a second meeting with Garrett... you can't make this stuff up.
McCarthy is a good one
I originally thought this too and I originally I never wanted him here but....if what I read/heard was true then I would be more accepting. I heard that he has spent his entire year off studying the game to adjust to todays strategies and tactics. In other words, he could come out with a entirely different mindset and play calling.McCarthy is not good.
Dude had Rodgers and Favre and was terrible with Xs and Os.

I always thought he was too conservative when he had the the lead (almost let us come back and win 2016 after stomping on our throats in the first half). I also agree he rode AR coat tails. I just wonder if the Giants would be apprehensive since their boy McAdoo was a McCarthy product IIRC.
Again, I’m not saying I would be thrilled but I would be intrigued to see if and how he’s changed. I used to argue with people on here all the time when they would bring up how great of a coach he is and I would point out several dumb decisions and strategies he’s had. As we both agree, without AR he would be average at best.I don’t buy it.
Gruden said the same thing.
Dallas has said the same thing almost every offseason.
These coaches are what they are and there is no changing them.
They coach with their ego and their way of doing things is attached to their ego.
