The first round of the 2014 NFL Draft is in the books, but that doesn't mean there aren't still impactful players left on the board. This is a very deep draft and many of the players taken on Day 2 would have been Day 1 picks in other years. Here are the best players available, based on my original rankings (this list isn't a projection of where I think the players will be drafted, but rather my opinion of who the best remaining players are):

1. Kony Ealy, DE, Missouri
Hot 100 rank: 20
Ealy (6-foot-4, 273 pounds) is a very athletic player with great quickness and a lot of upside. He came to Mizzou at 217 pounds; at his pro day he weighed 265. A two-year starter, Ealy had one good year, in 2013, which included a great game against Auburn: two forced fumbles and three tackles for loss. He ran the 40 in 4.69 seconds at his pro day.

Ealy might fall further or is it farther than D. Lawrence.

Hopefully we see a run on OL now so the dl slip. I didnt like Ealy in the 1st round, but he has potential to be an impact player once he figures out what hes doing. Really there are a lot of dl on this list that can help right away, but I favor de as its a premium position and our biggest need right now. I think Jerrigan has the potential to slip out of round 2 and if he does I would be willing to trade up for him in round 3. If we somehow came out with Martin, Ealy, and Jerrigan in the first 3 rounds that would be as close you can get to the perfect draft.

Just take BPA and get an awesome player for years to come. Just like we did in the first round.

Agreed. I want a good team in the long run. Let's think long term instead of just this year. Pick true BPA.

There's plenty of quality defensive help in that list. I'm hoping we come out with the kid from Boise, Crichtin,Murphy or Sutton tonight. I think one or more of these; Jernigan, Hageman, Ealy, or Attachou will be avaialable to us in the second. It will be a tough decision.

Jernigan & Ealy look a lot better as 2nd round picks instead of possible 1st round reaches, Fisher said they should get who they want and the Cowboys normally do get who they want in the 2nd unless they trade it like they did for Claiborne.

Let's hope the 2nd round starts with a run of WRs, OL, RBs and a QB or 2. That would play right into our hands.
