Gather round fans and coaches (someone help coach Kif to his chair).
Now, mens, since I half the advantage of seeing manys preseason I half the dirty to give you my wealth of noledge because I half seen it before. And i want a noledgable fan base here at the cowboyszone. With any luck I can get funding from the government or some think tank for my jims of wisdom.
1. After one preseason game Jerra has anointed a lineman to start. Don't do it, Jerra, it is a long preseason and a longer season. You showed all your amateur status in dat comet.
2. Fans are crazy for Tanny. Me too. That does not mean D. Murray will be traded or demoted. It just means Tanny might be a good backup.
3. Mens, keep in minds that we and manys teams in the preseason face the rookies and scrubs. I gives you mens permissions to be wild and crazy about your favorites in the last game of the preason. That is when we play our vets for good time and the opposing teams plays their vets for a good time.
4. Also, i half noticed a disturbing thing: Jerra is telling the news medians that so and so's injury was not serious and other injures will require such and such time. Jerra, last I looked i did not see you with a license to practice medicine, podiatry or even hair braiding, so your medical judgments are at the very least . . . stupid.
5. One fan toldt me that the defense look very good. Very good against the mostly 2nd-string? Hey, I will get excited when our defense plays good in the first conference game.
6. As to jerra wants romo to spend manning time at the practice field: Now Jason wants to give tony and Jason time off but . . . ohhhh . . . they don't because they won't take a day off because of their work ethic. Jerra, it is one or the other: Make them work hard, yes. But don't on a whim, suddenly offer them time off. You gets me confused dis way.
7. Stop all the "work ethic" and "good citizen" stuff. Halfing a work ethic and being a "good citizen" comes with the territory. They should not be praised for working according to contract or for staying out of jail. That goes for the corporate world, the blue collar world and for the profession athletes. So stop it. (oh, also don't refer to the athletes as "intelligence" because you aint fooling us. If they were intelligent they'd be working on medical degrees and not "communications" or "recreation" degrees. They gets paid for brawn and not brain (heh, I made a joke).
8. As rookies and first-year players make good plays, compliment them and gives them a slap on the back. Just don't say they half a great NFL career in front of them because in most cases they will just be waived before the first game.
I know that most of the fan base (except Jerra) is wiser than to fall for preseason heroics. Let us keep it (as the athletes) say, real. Don't get too excited so early in the season because reality does not sleep and will come back to haunt if we get our expectorations get too high.
OK, let's break for lunch. Coaches go back to your film. Ladies enjoy the line dancing class and for the non-coach gents we half dominoes to play this afternoon. I half boiled some eggs and made cannolis for ever one so enjoy.
