Congratulate Cassell? On what? Being on the same team as Dan Bailey? Being the only Cowboy lucky enough to recover his own fumble? Throwing in the direction of Commander DB's who can't catch? Tossing Witten's thousandth catch? Remembering in the 4th quarter that some guy named DeZ is on his team? Not throwing an INT....or TD?

Gee, thanks Cassell for only stinking enough to make this win a miracle.

Devin Street is the most useless WR this team has given snaps to that i can remember. Please tell me Brice Butler's leg is scheduled for amputation.

....memories of Ogletree

I didn't get an opportunity to watch the game last night, so I appreciate this threat. The burning question for me is did Cassell look like someone we want to return as our backup last year? From his previous games, my inclination has been to look elsewhere for an upgrade.

I thought last night was his worse night managing the offense. OP is right that he avoided the costly pick (though he did try to get it done at least once), but he was just really off all night. Missed reads and poor throws when he had his guy open.

That said, prior to last night, I thought he was a guy you'd bring back who'd benefit from a full camp and be a middling backup for you. He was taking care of the ball better recently, and he can at least generally make some tough downfield throws for you. But, yeah, last night was not good against a fairly beatable WAS defense.
