it was good enough. Dak's slow play recognition made him hold the ball too long. He should have never taken that sack when they were in field goal position on 3rd down.
Its because nobody was open. Where does this notion come from that because you drop back you need to pass it even if no one is open?

Daks been to the playoffs twice. Also won a playoff game. Something Dalton hasnt done. You sound like an agenda driven buffoon right now. Dak has won a playoff game. Dalton has not. And he was also horrible in his playoff appearances. Its not like he lit up the teams he played. Also people keep bringing up who he played. We played Green Bay and Seattle.
Dalton had to deal with Baltimore and Pittsburgh in the same division when they were top notch. Dak would be 0-for-his-career against those clubs.

It will be interesting how the coaching staff and front office shall react in relation to specific fan expectations about win/loss records--if those expectations actually come true.

Guys were open.

They just weren't "Dak" open.

He wants guys running free with nobody around them.

Interesting. Isn’t he currently 2-0 against those 2 teams?

Dak has beaten Pittsburgh and Green Bay, and Seattle (in the playoffs).

This is absolutely MADDENING

Between the local media not criticizing him and his cult-like following stan base, this guy is getting off easy

They are almost as nauseating as his play
he is getting another pass , and the blame is gonna shift to kellen moore or MM. It is as clear as day that Dak is not a threat to other defenses. I would trust at least 10 more Quarterbacks to lead this team , and they don't cost half what he wants to get paid. Cam newton looked good for 7 million .

He's not the savior. But he is Dak Prescott with less mobility and a better arm.
and 35 million dollars cheaper. that cap money can be used to fix the defense, a bigger priority than singing a mediocre entilted dak .

Dalton signed that contract as a backup. You think he'd continue to play for 2 or 3 million if he was a starter lol?

Did you watch the Philly game last year? Chicago? The Jets? The Bills? The Patriots? Did you tune in last night? Looks the same doesn't it? He doesn't deliver the ball downfield when it matters into tight spots. He barely threw the ball downfield last night at all. Are you saying Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup can't get open against the Rams defenders?

He was nervous as hell in the pocket. His feet were dancing all over the place whether there was pressure or not. He only looked good on 8 yard outs to Cooper. Threw one nice ball to a wide open Lamb. The late ball to Gallup was his best throw. Other than that, it was dump offs to the backs and tight ends. That is not a $40 million QB. That's a typical performance that any starting QB could put out there.

Lots of yards and few points. That's Dak. Can't finish.
Show me 30 points.

Sure the offensive wasn't great.

Unfortunately. The Defense was completely worse. Yet, get rid of Dak..

The chicken littles crack me up .

If the oline don't learn to protect the pocket we may see Dalton either way because Dak may be hurt after a while. Then Dalton will get hurt. Who's our 3rd string qb?

BTW its not Dak fault. Seems like we don't know how to use Dak to his strengths. We rarely move the pocket. With zeke we should be a play-action heavy team but we are not for some reason.
