Top 5 teams and bottom 5 teams in the NFL.

Yeah, I know it's only week 1. Who cares? Have fun with it.

1. Eagles (They beat a 12-4 team badly.)

2. Saints (Offensive firepower run amok.)

3. Vikings (I'm John Madden in disguise.)

4. Ravens (Supposedly a Defensive team.)

5. Cowboys (I know some of you will put them higher.)

28. Panthers (So glad we don't have Delhomme.)

29. Dolphins (I warned they were coming back to earth.)

30. Bengals (How do you lose to the Broncos?)

31. Texans (Breakout year? What breakout? Pimples?)

32. Rams (0 points says it all.)

1) Steelers (I don't think they're the best or most talented team, but they are the defending champions)
2) Saints (Great offense; is their defense as improved as some of the so called experts claim)
3) Patriots
4) Titans
5) Cowboys. (Call me a homer, but I think their performance will back me up)

28) Tampa Bay
29) Kansas City
30) Cleveland
31) Detroit
32) St. Louis

1. Steelers- Big Ben always comes through in big-game situations. Their defense will hardly miss a beat without Polamalu for a couple weeks.

2. Patriots- Brady is rusty and will get better each week. Defensively they have to be concerned though.

3. Ravens- Baltimore has a passing game? Flacco looks like a Pro Bowl QB.

4. Eagles- Lots of question marks but they are solid.

5. Vikings- Dominating defense and they have the best RB in football.

28. Texans- Kubiak will be looking for work by November.

29. Bengals- Defense is improved but they are still the Bengals.

30. Browns- Why is Mangini still a head coach?

31. Lions- They improved from last year! I put them above St. Louis because of the potential of the quarterback.

32. Rams- Terrible football team.

1. Packers (Beat a tough Chicago team)

2. Cowboys (It’s their year, i know, homer pick.)

3. Vikings (Petterson.)

4. Ravens (Flacco, top 5 QB this year.)

5. Jets (Something seems too right about them.)

28. Chiefs (They have a ways to go.)

29. Bengals (Kiss the baby, they suck.)

30. Rams (Come on.)

31. Browns (Why did they hire Mangini?)

32. Detroit (0-32?)

How can the Eagles be ranked number 1 if they beat a team you put in the bottom five????

You put the Eagles at #1 and say "They beat a 12-4 team" then you put that "12-4" team in the bottom 5?

Why doesn’t it? They “were” a 12-4 team. Not sure where the confusion is. Eagles did go to the Championship game last year.

Because he used the criteria that the Panthers were 12-4 last year as an argument to how good the Eagles are, but then he turned around and called the Panthers a terrible team (by putting them in the bottom 5 teams in the league). So which is it... are the Panthers a good team (12-4) or are they a bad team? If they're a good team, then certainly they wouldn't be in the bottom five, if they're a bad team.... then that really is no indication on good the Eagles are, other then they were good enough to beat one of the worst teams in the league, but then.. why call them a 12-4 team if you're acknowledging that they currently are not that good?

This is not saying the Eagles aren't good, or aren't the #1 team in the league, more that it's just odd that the in the first half he puts the Panthers as a good team, then he bashed them and calls them a terrible team in the second half of the post.

Yes they went to the championship game but they are not number 1 because they beat a BAD TEAM. But I will agree they are in the Top 5

Because they only scored 10 points and gave the ball up like crazy. The Eagles took the ball away and took advantage.

It's for fun for crying out loud. Get over it.

Relax

Anyway, Delhommes pea shooter has to be accounted for. Any team would have taken advantage of that performance.

Beat NO w/ Kolb and Garcia? Then Ill be impressed

1) Saints (Their offense is perhaps one of the most prolific in NFL history, and their defense should be improving.)

2) Steelers (Defeated a solid Titans team.)

3) Eagles (Solid, all-around team.)

4) Ravens (They finally displayed some explosive offense, and at this point, we must believe that the defense simply had rare poor outing against KC.)

5) Cowboys (This slot should probably be filled by the Giants or Patriots, but I'm a homer.)

28) Lions (I think they'll be a markedly improved team from last season.)

29) Panthers (This team will fall off into the abyss this season.)

30) Texans (They lost to a rookie quarterback by double digits...at home. Ridiculous.)

31) Bengals (Simply an awful loss.)

32) Rams (Offense was abysmal.)

Because they lucked out. Just plain luck.

They will operate soley on defensive power this year and be mediocre to awful. Really.
